What began as a catering business in 2004 has become one of the North Shore’s best restaurants for Latin cuisine. Luibueno’s is a trendy, fun, lively place to be for dinner, drinks, and camaraderie! Using only the freshest ingredients, we are passionate about providing quality food and service at reasonable prices. Contemporary Latin fusion that is both imaginative and authentic, the menu is filled with delicious choices from tapas to entrees, featuring favorites such as the Camerones a la Plancha (Mexican prawns) and Callo de Hacha en Crema de Tequila (seared scallops in a tequila cream sauce!), as well as many more Latin dishes. The drinks are top-notch, using premium tequilas and liquors, with a great selection of Mexican beers!     The food is very tasty. I am a vegetarian so I asked for the bean burrito without fish with the veggie ceviche- it came wrapped in the burrito and it was delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed. The staff were Uber friendly!! My iPhone was almost dead so the waiter found a plug so I could charge it. I left my sunglasses there and they held them until I could retrieve them.

    Unfortunately, they had a new menu that was ok if you want a Side Street in experience. Luibueno used to be casual gourmet. Now it is just casual. The Paella was still on the menu, but it was sold out when we cam for lunch. My five friends and I left and went across the street to Kua Aina's and had a fabulous salad with Ahi on it for half the price of LB.

    Moses was out waiter and he was very knowledgeable and very attentive. He made it a great night. I took my 2 year old son and it was nice to have a kids menu for him so I didn't have to order something mild. He took my son's order right away so he we could start with drinks and appetizers. He didn't wait for us to ask. He anticipated our needs. The food was really good. It's very hard to find good mexican food on the islands. I'd definitely would make the drive to eat there again. Food is very tasty. Not bland like many mexican restaurants here.

    Menu has a good variety of choices. Food arrived quickly. The restaurant is small and the tables are very close to each other. Service was excellent!!

    Ordered a single taco with shrimp. It arrived greased out to the max limp dripping with grease. The filling inside taco was somewhat of a greasy stew. Nothing refreshing at all on this order. Made me sick the entire day.

    This place is good for generic Mexican food and drink specials. It's a loud, cantina style and nothing special from my experiences dining in and out of Mexico and the US.
