Lucky Robot is the 1st sushi restaurant in Texas to partner with the James Beard Foundation and Monterrey Bay Aquarium sustainability programs. We are committed to healthy oceans.

Our kitchen is lead by 2 time Ora King Finalist Jay Huang. Our food is Modern Nikkei cuisine, a balance of Japanese cuisine accentuated with the fragrant chilies and aromatic spices of Latin America.

Prime dry-aged fish is here. A tradition started over 200 years ago in Tokyo and now the 1st in Texas.

Prime Dry Aged Fish will allow you to taste the fish in its purest form. Breaking down tissues and sugars allows new flavors and textures that bring the fish to its cleanest, most tender form. Age = Flavour.

We hold back a number of tables each evening for walk-ins if there are none available online.

We sat outside - had a few bees that love ginger! But they dissipated after sunset. Food was very good (short of excellent - but very good). Service was outstanding. Prices on the higher side but manageable.

Interesting decor, interesting and varied menu. We opted for a tasting menu. Every dish was nicely presented, well-thought out and tasty - and interesting. Our waitperson was attentive and paid special attention to a diner who did not care for "heat" in the food.

The ambience and esthetic was very pleasing. The food was beautiful and balanced. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable about sushi and sake. The (what I assume) manager came by and made sure we were satisfied with our experience. Will be back for sure.

Our Server was EXCELLENT, she handled my allergy (celiac) without flaw and my sons (dairy) as well. The food came out timely and everything tasted delicious. I love their sushi!

I was warned about the ichigo mule being different and I tried it anyways but learn from my mistake. It was super gross try another drink, the oregano in it made it taste like menudo and the drink was murky like the ingredients couldn't mix together fully. Had the crunchy atomic salmon, it was okay and then had the crispy pork belly from the grilled section on kitchen menu, we were surprised by the plate that came out but after we tried it the combination of flavors was actually pretty good. Definitely a cute instagrammable place but didn't have the best luck with our order choices and quite expensive

5 stars on EVERYTHING. Outstanding service, knowledgeable and FUN staff, extraordinary sushi and dessert. We did the R2-D2, Hari Hari, and Sea-3PO rolls plus the brussell sprouts/pork belly starters. Finished with the Yuzu cake which is a cross between cheesecake and key lime pie. Environment is 10/10 here on SoCo. We will be back!

We went for their Friday specials half off oysters and half off bubbles. The oysters were absolutely delicious and they paired really well with the Cava we purchased. I love this place.

The food and staff were amazing but don’t go there with infants or kids who may need a diaper change; there is no changing table. They also don’t provide high chairs, thank goodness I brought my chair that hooks on the table. Like I said, everything was great (Kendra our server was awesome!); it’s just not as kid friendly as I have come to expect

Lucky Robot is FANTASTIC! We ordered all their modern sashimi dishes during happy hour (which is an incredible deal) and every single one was great. The yellowtail and otoro in particular were standout dishes. Service was amazing as well and our server took time explaining each dish and highlighting the ingredients in each one. If you’re in Austin you definitely need to check out Lucky Robot!

Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. They had so many options to choose from. We started with scallops in a juice with grapefruit pieces and greens -really tasty! Some of our favorites were vegan -the avocado sushi melted in your mouth! The mackerel and short rib sushi were delicious. The best spider roll we’ve ever had. Nice ambiance-you feel like you are in Japan when you eat inside. Outdoor seating was available as well. Place was pretty full for a Tuesday night so obviously a popular place! Our server, I believe his name was Brandon (it began with a “B”) was very knowledgeable and told us how they dry age the fish and what that does to enhance the flavors of the fish. He also made some great recommendations on the menu. We will definitely be back!

Our waiter Drew provided excellent recommendations and was very impressive in his knowledge of the drink menu too. Everything was great but we especially loved these items: King Sakura, o-toro nigiri dry aged, and the prime market sashimi moriawase. The dry aged scallops were unbelievable! Also loved the Silent Snow sake. It is perfectly mild-dryness and sweet.

The vibe was amazing, service was great, would def book again. The portions were a bit smaller for what I paid but the quality of the food/presentation made up for it. The drinks were fantastic, and my girlfriend and I had an amazing time. Recommend eating something small before going though, otherwise your pockets will hurt trying to get full.

We had our Valentine’s dinner and everything in the 8 course Omakase menu was amazing and delicious, as was the sake pairings. The waitstaff were extremely efficient, friendly and helpful. We want to come back and try more from their daily dinner menu. Thank you for making our Valentine dinner fun and memorable!

Good service, employees are very kind and attentive. Food was nothing special. The rolls don’t taste as fresh as other sushi places I’ve been to. Miso soup had an interesting flavor, not my fave. Ambiance is okay. Not a memorable meal. I ordered the Brussel sprouts, 2 rolls, and a miso soup.
