Lucky Robot is the first sushi restaurant in Texas to partner with the James Beard Foundation and Monterrey Bay Aquarium sustainability programs. We are committed to healthy oceans.

Our kitchen is lead by two time Ora King Finalist Jay Huang. Our food is Modern Nikkei cuisine, a balance of Japanese cuisine accentuated with the fragrant chilies and aromatic spices of Latin America.

Prime dry-aged fish is here. A tradition started over 200 years ago in Tokyo and now the first in Texas. Prime Dry Aged Fish will allow you to taste the fish in its purest form. Breaking down tissues and sugars allows new flavors and textures that bring the fish to its cleanest, most tender form. Age = Flavor.

  • Flood Relief Fund Event

    Jul 15, 2025 only
    Help us support the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund at the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country. The Fund supports the relief and rebuilding effort following the flood of July 4th, 2025. The Community Foundation will direct funds to vetted organizations providing rescue, relief, and recovery efforts as well as flood assistance. The Fund will support the communities of Hunt, Ingram, Kerrville, Center Point, and Comfort. On the evening of Tuesday, July 15th, we will be donating 20% of our sales to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund. Join us for an evening celebrating community where we work together to support our neighbors.

    Kevin and the whole team behind the sushi bar were incredible. They made us feel so welcome and had great conversations with us. Bonded so much they gave us a taste of incredible nigiri on the house! Will 100% be returning and I’m so excited about it. Food amazing, vibes amazing. Thank you!!!!!

    This is my favorite restaurant of all time. I’ve eaten at sushi places like Nobu and Komodo, and they do not come close to Lucky Robot. Amazing flavors, everything is fresh, and every one is friendly. Love the atmosphere.

    Our waiter Liam was a delight, the food was amazing, although the Brussels were a little over cooked and greasy. We were not fans of the tuna/fig dish although others might enjoy it. The roll I had and the ramen were great! The yuzu dessert was delicious. Definitely a solid place that we will come back to.

    The food here is out of this world amazing and service is so fast that I wish we had ordered dishes individually or asked them to be staggered because our waiters were so quick and attentive!! Our only issues were the inside temp but since it was pretty crowded I’m sure they already had the AC working overtime. Music volume was a bit loud but not so loud that we couldn’t hear each other. Been here so many times and I’ll definitely be back again

    Everything was fresh! Seasonal specials were great. Interesting and tasty twists added to all dishes. Desserts awesome and the waitstaff exceptional
