Lucky Robot is the first sushi restaurant in Texas to partner with the James Beard Foundation and Monterrey Bay Aquarium sustainability programs. We are committed to healthy oceans.

Our kitchen is lead by two time Ora King Finalist Jay Huang. Our food is Modern Nikkei cuisine, a balance of Japanese cuisine accentuated with the fragrant chilies and aromatic spices of Latin America.

Prime dry-aged fish is here. A tradition started over 200 years ago in Tokyo and now the first in Texas. Prime Dry Aged Fish will allow you to taste the fish in its purest form. Breaking down tissues and sugars allows new flavors and textures that bring the fish to its cleanest, most tender form. Age = Flavor.

We sat at the sushi bar and they were so attentive with great recommendations! Everything we ate was delicious!! They were also super accommodating of my gluten allergy. Standouts were the ceviche, C-3PO roll, and a magical pork and tuna bite at the end. Special shout outs to Kevin behind the sushi bar and Liam our waiter for great service.

Food and atmosphere were great! I do think the price point is a tad high for some of their dishes, but overall a great experience with a lot of variety.

Excellent sushi and a nice experience at the sushi bar. We have eaten here many times over the year, and the food has never dissatisfied. Unfortunately, we were greeted by a hostess who felt a need to tell us there was another reservation in an hour and a half and that we would need to be done by then. Really? We were early for our reservation. It’s not my responsibility to make the restaurant’s reservations work out. And to be greeted with essentially a time when we need to leave was unwelcoming and unprofessional. We shook it off and had a nice experience, but someone needs to retrain that hostess. And the restaurant needs to take responsibility for not making so many reservations that there could be an issue.

Our waiter was amazing, I’m horrible with names or else I’d give him a s/o. The food was even more amazing. I’m not big on sushi and this place made me actually enjoy it and appreciate it. I really liked the dill pickle flavored roll. Even with everything we ordered, and seeing the price on menu we were afraid of the bill but actually wasn’t bad at all! And we all left with a full belly. 10/10 recommend!

Lucky Robot is always a fantastic destination. Our small bachelor party was accommodated graciously, delighted with every course, and treated with the utmost respect. We deeply appreciated our servers’ excellent input and we look forward to many more return visits.
