Lucky Fins Grill | Meridian
The food was great and service excellent for a busy Friday night!
We were seat quickly, waitress attended to us promptly, food arrive hot and delicious!
Always a great time. Service is so friendly and food is consistent. Specials are fun and house wine is lovely
The server was right at the table when we sat down and was attentive throughout our dinner. The food was perfect - just as requested and ready in a reasonable amount of time.
Great food and awesome service!! Just a bit noisy for me to hear the conversations at our table easily but the food and service made up for it.
The salmon developed a complex enjoyable flavor. Ramen and fried rice bowls lacked a degree of taste. Atmosphere comes off commercialized. Cost is higher than expected for quality of meal.
Our table was ready and we were seated right away. Didn't have appetizers this visit but many to choose from. Table had monkfish, codfish and chips and the shrimp ad fettuccine. All were delicious. Desert was the mango cake very good and a key lime cheese cake also very tasty. The service was excellent. Can not wait until next time.
We both ordered the salmon and it was delicious! The service was great, too!
Food was amazing, however the tables were very close together and the restaurant was very loud.
Great food selection! Reasonable prices. Very, very noisy and difficult to hear anyone even at your own table. There is background music but can only hear the bass. Great service and staff.
Great to show a new neighbor about seafood in Idaho. Great showing.
We needed a late Mothers day dinner due to kids work schedule. They accommodated and food was amazing.
Very easy to get in. StAff eager to
Please. Food was great and service good. We will try again it looks like they have a good happy hour. The prices were great.
Great food and staff. We'll be back. Nice that they have online reservations, too.
The food was great and the service was great. Will definitely go back.
Pistachio Halibut was amazing! Mango cake was delicious but a little dry. Adult beverages good but small for $8-10 each.
The food was great, and our service was great. However, it seemed like the food took a very long time to reach us.
Yes, I would recommend Lucky Fins, but the weekends there are extremely busy and LOUD. Lucky Fins used to be the best kept secret in Meridian, but due to massive growth in the area, it's a secret no longer.
I highly advise to make a reservation for a table. Best to go there during the week when it's not crowded. Our server was delightful and cheerful, thank you! Best fresh seafood in Idaho.
This place just isn't great. I have tried it 3 different times, all with the same outcome. Mediocre food, loud, very cold (sat under the air conditioning and shivered in May!), and poor service. I left thinking that I would have rather gone to a food truck, at least I could hear the person next to me and not freeze! This last time the fish and chips were soggy and my ramen bowl had HUGE chunks of ginger. It was extremely gross getting one of them into your bite so I found myself trying to search through the bowl pulling out each piece with my fork. Somehow even with all the ginger it really had not much of a flavor at all. Won't be going back.
Every time we go we experience great food at a great price!
Food & service was excellent. It was quite loud. We have been planning on going for awhile & really glad we finally did! We’d go again.
We loved everything about Lucky Fins, except the noise level. However, that was easy enough to ignore. The sushi was fantastic, our entrees were perfect. We were amazed at how quickly they got our food to us, considering the place was packed. Our waitress was wonderful. We will definitely be going back!
Excellent service and food was terrific!
Loved service and the food. It was very loud in the dinning area. It was hard to hold a conversation even across the table. In all fairness it was 6:30 on a Friday night during lent so they were packed. Pricing was a little high, but the quality of food made it worth it.
Appetizers were good but out of oysters (which is why we went there), chowder not very good. My seated ahi and scallops were good but served cold. However the other guests ordered snow crab and it was very salty, like really SALTY. Mentioned that to waitress who said she would tell manager but that's as far as that went. Me and our guest's boyfriend are from SE Louisiana and the women guest and my wife are Chinese so we all know seafood intimately. $186 poorly spent.
Everything worked out great the table was ready as promised on time. We had a great dinner and conversation with old friends
Our server was extremely efficient and friendly. We had a delicious meal sharing the seafood platter and a Toyko salad, which consisted of sushi rice, mixed greens, edamame, avocado, cubed raw salmon and Ahi tuna, Ebi shrimp, seaweed salad, and wasabi soy dressing, along with two nice cocktails from the bar specials.
Food was very good and staff was friendly and very attentive. Wife had Fish and chips and she LOVE it. I had a bite and agree the fish was excellent. Only issue is I think the fries were cooked in same oil as fish so I wasn't a fan of those. I had the Sushi and it was spicy but very tasty. Will certainly go again.
