Nestled in a 1920s mission-style home in the heart of Houston’s Museum District, Lucille's specializes in well-refined Southern cuisine with infusions of international techniques and flavors. The restaurant serves as a tribute to the culinary tradition began by Executive Chef & Owner Chris Williams’ great-grandmother, Lucille B. Smith, who was a culinary pioneer and successful entrepreneur who founded her own food corporation. Today, the Lucille’s team continues to pay homage to their namesake by replicating some of her most famous recipes while embellishing others to create innovative takes on Southern food classics.

Great southern flared dishes! Catfish & Grits are a favorite but we also had the crab cakes with corn & black eyed pea salsa which was amazing! Quincey was very welcoming and offered great service!

Although we have heard that Lucille's is famous for the Chili Biscuits, we ordered the Crab Cakes to start and were not disappointed. They were just moist enough and delicious! Because it was brunch we also enjoyed the cocktail menu. Our drinks do not line up with the current menu on the website (Lucille - you need to update your website!), but they were delicious. For the main course, we had the Croissant French Toast and the Boudin Benedict (which is served with a small salad). The food was excellent. It was a beautiful, slightly breezy day in Houston with low humidity, so we sat outside. We love a patio option! Will definitely come back - high quality food and service.

Visited here from out of town, and OMG, the food is amazing! Everything we tried was delicious. The best meal I've had in a long time!

Amazing dood and atmosphere. Beautiful back garden. Terrific service our waiter Rick was phenomenal. Yard bird is top notch!

Rick at Lucille's did a terrific job taking care of us. It was windy outside, but the courtyard was a relaxing and comfortable space. The jalapeno poppers were so good, we ordered them twice. The crab cakes were delicious. It was our second time, and the 6:30 reservation meant that it wasn't crowded, which we like. We will be back!
