   Food was absolutely delicious, waiter was fun, attentive and the atmosphere was festive.

   I've been a frequent visitor of Lucille's since they first opened, but last night's visit on 5/10/25 was not the best. I took my mom to the restaurant for Mother's Day, and I'm kind of sad that I did. The food was extremely salty, they ran out of salmon...ok, we can work around that, but the yardbird my mom ordered was very salty. The server we had was mediocre. He kept blaming his poor service to the fact that he had only been there for a month. Is there no training? He also shared that the menu had changed, but was not sure what changed, and he didn't even know how long the restaurant had been opened. He paid no attention to details, and took forever to bring out our drinks...another server had to bring us water because she saw we had been sitting for a long time with no service. I heard from another server that the kitchen was slow last night, but our server never said that to us, it was kinda like we had to remind him to bring us certain things we had ordered. Maybe he was overwhelmed, but that was not a good excuse for poor service. Additionally, he had negative things to say about management...that was off putting as a customer, and makes me feel like this restaurant should not be considered for any meal in the future. Lucille's has never been this horrible across the board for us. The servers tried, but came up short last night. The negative comments about management, and lack of presence of management were a shock for this visit. I wish this business well, but something needs to be revamped before more lackluster reviews surface that can change the flow of customers trying out this restaurant. I expected better because I've had better from Lucille's for years. Oh yeah, the valet guys wrecked two cars they were bringing to people who were waiting. I’m glad it wasn’t mine, but gee…what was in the water at Lucille’s last night?

   Not great. Food was just OK. Not enough flavor. Service was just ok. Ordered corn bread and was not brought with our meal. After asking, it seems they had run out. Again, just ok.

   We were a group of six. Everyone’s meal was great. The braised oxtail fell off the bone and was delicious. The salmon with lump crab was to die for and the shrimp with grits and catfish with grits were also superb. We also had some of the house designed cocktails - which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had fabulous service and would gladly dine here again.

   There is absolutly no parking available. There is construction blocking the street out front and traffic flow becomes completely blocked. We arrived 15 min early but could not be seated until all people of the party were inside. It took 30min for the valet to take the vehicle. Then when we came out, our vehicle was exactly in the same spot that we left it and the key was missing. We had to pay $10 to the valet that never got into the vehilce and had to wait an additional 15min to find the valet driver who kept the key in his pocket instead of the booth rack.

   The dishes were all beautiful and so tasty! A very memorable experience for our large group - the hospitality was top notch. We loved dining on the patio, it was the perfect brunch day!

    Great southern flared dishes! Catfish & Grits are a favorite but we also had the crab cakes with corn & black eyed pea salsa which was amazing! Quincey was very welcoming and offered great service!
