Located in a historical home in the resort town of Dana Point, California, Luciana's Ristorante has been serving the Orange County community for over 40 years. The decor is reminiscent of a cozy European-style inn, establishing it as one of Orange County's most romantic restaurants. Awarded the Southern California Restaurant Writers gold medal since 1996, three stars from the California Restaurant Writers, Zagat's Survey "America’s 1,000 Top Italian Restaurants 2008" and an Award of Excellence for its wine list, Luciana's has been setting the standard for classic as well as innovative Italian cuisine.     We ate there for the first time to celebrate a birthday. Wonderful experience! Atmosphere was romantic and the food was fantastic. We ordered the Ravioli with Veal, Seafood Risotto and some Cream of Asparagus soup. The star of the show was the soft Polenta, listed as mashed potatoes. It was to die for! Will definitely be going back to try more of their great food. Compliments to the chef. Dave P.

    Was here two years ago. Sat outside at the bar. Wonderful experience. Came back with friends and was disappointed. Four meals and one happy guest. Pasta overcooked. Sauces underwhelming. Signature seafood pasta dish had no calamari and chewy scallops with no spice to watery sauce. Fongole had an unappealing brown bone garlic broth.

    Luciana’s was very enjoyable. We went with friends which had never been there and they thought it was great.

    Food and service great. I had Tagliata, and my son had Rigatini Salsiccia. Get same thing every time we go to Luciana's.

    Great place! Perfect atmosphere for an Italian restaurant. Wine list is very well done! Good value and some interesting selections. I had the salty bocce and it was excellent. Cooked perfectly! Pasta was excellent,

    We have been to Luciana’s several times but last evening was one of the best experiences we have ever had. Nikki was excellent! She was very welcoming and friendly but also attentive. The food was delicious and the ambiance relaxing. Renewed love for Luciana’s.

    The waiters are attentive and the food is excellent. We love the atmosphere of the library room. I have eaten there about a dozen times and have never had a meal that was less than excellent.

    Food was delicious but service was lacking. Took a long time to take order and In between to take plates. Just seems to be a disconnect since there was plenty of staff around and empty tables but seems like waitress was the only one that would deal with use. We had to ask for forks and knives after appetizers once the main course came out. Just seems for a fine dining experience they need to be better trained.
