Luca West features high-end modern Italian served in a classy, Tuscan setting. Diners will find many of their favorite dishes that made Chef Luca’s Italian Cuisine such a grand success in downtown Cleveland. But new to Luca West are a number of unique menu choices that will become new favorites, for our new friends on the west side of Cleveland.

The wine program at Luca West meets the standards of the most adventurous wine fan, including our globally expansive list of wines by the glass.

    Having family from out of state and choosing a place where they have amazing food like big cities do, dining at Luca West is the perfect choice . My brother and his wife were delighted to try the delicious seafood such as blackened scallops, calamari and halibut. Naile gave us excellent service with food recommendations and the manager, Jason, and bussers were professional and friendly. We had excellent cocktails, but my favorite was hemingway and they had a broad selection of wines. And to top the night off, the homemade dessert was delicious, it was pistachio gelato, and chocolate mousse. The perfect ending touch was the printed picture of an unforgettable evening. Thank you all the staff of Luca West!

    Been dining at Luca West since it opened and never experienced bad service. Upon arrival we waited at the hostess desk for 7 minutes to be addressed. The time allowed us to observe the staff. They were rushing and unfriendly. All of us waiting to be seated thought possibly several people called off that night. Our waiter was especially hurried, oblivious, and rude. We asked if there were any specials; he insisted he already gave us the specials. Why would we ask? He always had to be reminded of our orders, took away my cocktail that was half full and never asked if I wanted another cocktail. It took him 1 hour to take our orders and one hour for the food to arrive. My meal was mediocre, but the three people I was dining with were enamored with their meals.

    We were three friends out for a nice dinner. We chose Luca West based on one of our friends’ recommendation. It was wonderful. Our server, Lori, took good care of us. The complementary bread and olive oil set the stage for a delicious meal. We all had different appetizers and meals and enjoyed everything. The wine list included many quality choices at good prices. The gelato and crème brûlée are very good choices for dessert.

    One of the great patios on the westside. Could have some cheaper wine selections. I know there are cheaper wines by the bottle than $50 and $14 a glass

    I ordered an espresso martini which I’ve had there many times and they brought it wrong 4 times! They made it with Baileys and I said ‘no please Kahlua’ each time. The chicken piccata was soggy and with all the gravy tasted gloppy. The mashed potatoes were sticky like wallpaper glue. I’ve eaten here frequently for years and I’m sad to say won’t be back because of the poor service and terrible food. Also, came a week ago and there were crying toddler sitting next to us in their pajamas…sorry I thought this wasn’t Dennys :(

    Had a wonderful Anniversary dinner at Lucca West, everything was perfect from the staff, to the food to the ambiance. Will definitely visit again!

    Menu was awesome, lots of balance between fish, beef and pasta….. All had something different and enjoyed our choices.
