Lately is Calgary’s newest restaurant & bar. The chic newly designed restaurant showcases an elegant atmosphere with it's unique modern & contemporary architecture.

Guests can enjoy an innovative selection of custom cocktails and modern mixology offered alongside a menu of light plates. Every night, a specially priced happy hour (6-10pm) menu of appetizers & wine provides an excellent option for pre-dinner drinks or relaxation after work.

To end the night, Lately also features late night happy hour specials ; live entertainment every night to create a relaxing and entertaining ambience.

I had a large party reservation at Lately and they were apparently closed for renovations and noone notified me at all. We showed up to find the doors closed and had to scramble to find another spot for dinner

We were at Lately on Friday night. There was one other table so the service was quick and efficient. All cocktails are $10 which for 2 shots is a fair price. The food was delivered in a timely manner and quite tasty. The beet hummus was very good and the sliders are delicious. This appears to be a later night hangout so if you are going for a nice dinner I would choose another location.

Thursday’s are always lit , the chicken skewers are to die for , only thing I don’t like is paying $15 for a Long Island ice tea

A joke. Made a reservation and walked in. Waited about ten minutes to be greeted, despite many staff walking by the front. Finally got seated and then sat there for TWENTY-FIVE minutes and were completed ignored. Many, many servers walked by us and refused to greet us. We finally went up to the bartender to request service which was then provided. The bartender served us briefly and then we left. Not going to be going back again. Fail.
