   Ordered the fish tacos and it was amazing on the first time but then had them a second and they were subpar, at best. Very little coleslaw was there.

   The restaurant is welcoming and our server was very helpful and friendly. The food was okay but a bit bland. Our table was there to take in the live music but the sound quality was not great. I think the restaurant should invest in upgrading their sound equipment

   Waited too long for food that was cold, too salty or just plain awful. We were 8 & none enjoyed our meal. They did apologize and comp some things so there is that. Got there at 6:45 and left at 10:15.

   Our waiter spilled our beer on the way to the table and on the table as he was serving it. I was sort of ok with the error but he did not apologize and never came back to wipe the spillage on the table. I had to find a napkin to clean it up. My guest ordered a coke as her second round. He came back twice to ask what type of pop she wanted and it never showed up. We were at our table for another hour and our original waiter never returned and neither did any other waiter or waitress came by to ask if we wanted any further drinks.

   Great ambience. Excellent service by cheerful waitstaff. The chicken was delicious, smoky flavour and cooked just right. The brisket flavourful and tender. Fish tacos excellent.

    The service was not satisfied. Can’t you believe that we were informed 4 times that each menu we ordered were sold out. My friend order a veg burger, 10 minutes later, the waiter said, there’s no vegetarian menus available today. We changed for chicken burger. 2 people received a meal then the waiter just informed us that the order of my other friend was sold out as well. So we’re both had to wait until my friend get a food. He ordered taco and 15 mins after the another waiter bring out burger. Our waiter confronted and told us, yes he ordered Taco. Since a taco is too small, we ordered an extra order of Nashville chicken burger, after a few mins, waiter come back with an ashamed on face, now this item also sold out. Imagine, it was 6pm and they sold out everything. No apology or offer has been made to us. I felt so bad to my both friends from Montreal and the only thing I can say, my first time there and also my last time. Thank you

    Wow, what a disappointing family dinner. Seated and cocktails came promptly, 45 minutes later no entrees, and those seated long after us are getting their food before us. When our dinners did arrive on the 55 minute mark, they were room temp. The waiter was very apologetic, the manger seemed perplexed. The ambiance is casual, tables are sticky, feels more like a campus bar then family restaurant. Do not bother.

    Not much selection on the menu and the waiter forgot 2 different requests I made (to try a beer and when I gave up to bring me an actual beer) we were the only group in the restaurant with about 10 other patrons. The food was bland and tasteless with little or no vinegrette on my salad (that was $16.00) I will be going elsewhere next time.

    Travelled from Toronto on a brewery tour/vacation and this was the only brewery open. Good beer, decent food. We bought a beer glass for our collection and we are not happy as the logo was 2/2 missing.

    Bad poutine: raw fries, thin, flavorless gravy and super cold curds. Tasted primarily of jalapeños. Beer was thin, and tasted like burnt coffee.

    This was a first time visit to Lowertown Brewery and had a great experience. Was meeting friends for a visit and the staff served promptly, yet let us relax without constantly checking on us. I would definitely return and also recommend Lowertown Brewery.

    We were there for a bachelorette party and most of the group had never been and they all really appreciated the ambiance and the food! Our waiter, Michel, provided a fab service!!! We also quite enjoyed the singer who was there that evening! Thank you all!!!

    Unfortunately when we got there we asked if we could sit outside on the patio. There was tons of available spots. The lady seating is said no - we only put reservations inside. So instead on a bright beautiful day we were in the back room in a low lite room by ourselves when there was room for us outside. I even asked her twice saying - but there is room right there and she said no. If it had just been a couple of us I would have left immediately. Because we had 10 people we unfortunately stayed.

    I was really looking forward to a special dinner on Friday July 5th because it was my and my twin sister's birthday. Our birthday experience at Lowertown Brewery wasn't special at all. I booked our reservation online and as a Special Request I asked for something special for just my sister as we always have to share our birthday and that didn't happen, not a song or a piece of cake, nothing. Our waitress was ok but the hostess really should have been put in that back of the restaurant or the kitchen or something because she totally looked like she didn't even want to be there, she didn't even smile or make eye contact with anyone. The one good thing about the restaurant was the food, we had ribs and fish and chips and it was excellent but if I knew that our birthday was going to be the way it ended up (not special at all) I would have booked my reservation at The Smoke Shack instead.     It surprises me that a restaurant in this day and age can survive offering such poor tasting food. It’s not like they were doing anything new and ambitious either. How do mess up a poutine? Worse yet, how was it okay’d by management/ownership in the first place? Strange...

    We went to Lowertown Brewery for wing night. We had made a reservation through open table. The hostess wasn’t aware of the reservation when we arrived, however she very quickly found a nice table for us on the patio. After several minutes at our table, we asked the third waitress we saw on the patio if she was our server and she said that she wasn’t but we asked if she could be because we hadn’t been greeted by a server yet. She agreed to serve our table and she really did a wonderful job. There must have been some confusion about table assignments. The wings and drinks were great. We were disappointed initially because we really wanted to try the Timber Slide IPA but it was unavailable. So we ordered drinks which were called Kentucky Fresh with bourbon and lemon. They were delicious. We also asked if we could order some veggies and dip to go with the wings but that item is not on the menu unfortunately. So a few glitches, but in the end, a good meal, a fun evening in a great location with an excellent server. (Hailey)

    I feel like the food has gone down hill a bit. Used to be so good. Menu change, chef change perhaps? Disappointing as I used to go there regularly. Beer always solid.

    I usually really like Lowertown Brewery, but we found the food dissapointing this time. The food was cold and the cheddar biscuits were stale. Very dissapointing. The music was great until 10pm. At that point they cranked the music up and we couldn't hear the person beside us. When we asked to turn the music down the guy at the bar snickered and rolled his eyed. We asked our waitress and she asked them to turn the music down. It was a little quieter for a song, but it got cranked up again. As a result we left.

    This could have been an excellent night. Did not appear to be particularly busy but it took almost an hour to get our entrée and it was cold. Flavours were outstanding (smoked meat sandwich, fish sandwich and vegetarian meat(less) loaf) but sadly, with the food being cold, we couldn't appreciate them. Server did not come by much. Would give it another chance. Hopefully the service will be better.

    We had an amazing time. We came by on a Wednesday for a bachelorette and the waiter was wonderful. We all got tasters and had a lots of laughs and good food. We sat outside and it was comfortable and warm.

    Wonderful service and the beer is good. I had a BBQ plater The BBQ was ok. The sauce was nothing special. Almost tasted like it was from a bottle and not original to Lowertown.
