   We were staying at Rydges through Lux Escapes which had drinks included in our stay. The cocktail menu is very limited and both days we attended the cocktails made were below average and not very well made. The Thursday night wasn’t very busy and I waited 35 mins for 2 cocktails to be made.

   The food was nice and drinks were okay but to wait 45mins just to get served is a joke and it wasn’t just once it was every time you went to the bar then you see other staff just standing around def not worth the money

   We were told food would be up to an hour wait. At an hour and 15 minutes we got up and checked on our food to find out our order had been lost. Had to wait a further 15 minutes for our food. Got offered a complimentary drink. Burger was good however battered fish was very bland, batter definitely needing seasoning and was very oily.

   My wife and I had good expectations for our first lunch at this venue as we had previously had a delicious breakfast there some time ago but the food was very disappointing. The batter on the fish was very thick and oily and the salad was not fresh. The chips were okay. We won’t be dining there again.
