Louvinos is my fave place in Mass Ave. However the set menu for Mothers Day was not featuring some of our faves. Service was slow and took 20 mins after seating for anyone to come to our table… I’ll know for next time not to go on certain holidays!!

Our family went to LouVino for their special Mother's Day Brunch. We could not have been happier with the decision. We are a bit leery of special holiday meals at restaurants. We have not had the best experiences in the past. Long story. In this case, we could not have been happier. Perfect food. Perfect service. The noise level was not crazy. Our table was wonderful. My adult kids asked me if I was going to write a review because we all kept laughing about what a wonderful experience we we having. Sorry to "pour it on so think", but we loved it. Thank you for making my wife's special day even more special LouVino!

LouVino is an absolutely terrific date spot on Mass Ave. The staff is always attentive and super friendly. Ask for Erin if you’re there on a Wednesday. We went recently for the special Hamilton menu before the show. 10/10 would recommend. Chef Elliot Checinski is so creative and always delivers!

We reserved LouVino for our pre-theater meal. It was lovely. Our waitstaff was helpful with recommendations for several small plates and she did not lead us astray! Wagu sliders, duck fat fries, bacon wrapped dates, chicken tacos. She suggested the cookie dough dessert, even though we were full…perfect amount and delicious! We will be back!

We had an arancini starter followed by scallops on fried green tomatoes and Asia inspired maple bourbon salmon “bites.” Cocktails and wine flights a bit pricey, but wines by the glass or bottle and all the food on menu were much lower in price.

This place was phenomenal. We had reservations prior to Hamilton at the Murat. phenomenal. We had reservations prior to Hamilton at the Marriott. From first entrance, we were greeted and taken to our seats. The concierge was so pleasant with a tad of sense of humor. We got to our seats and was greeted by our waitress. Who was amazing. I asked for suggestions on food and wine and her suggestions were perfect for us. I got the scallops with fried green tomatoes and it was incredible. Absolutely incredible I wish maybe there was one more on the plate but seeing how I ate a lot of desserts three of the scallops was probably a good choice. My friend got the waygu sliders, also amazing. We loved that they had bread and butter pickles on the sandwich. For dessert we couldn’t go wrong with the cookie dough stuffed beignets with the Bavarian cream dip. Wow. Just wow they were extremely rich but oh so delightful. We shared a bottle of Moscato. For both of our meals, desserts, and a bottle of wine was under $100. I honestly can’t wait to go back!

The place is gorgeous. But, food is what's most important. We started with the biscuit spread. The biscuits seemed to have very little salt in them. My wife asked if she might have COVID because she couldn't really 'taste' the biscuit. I had the same feeling, though. Then we tried all the little accoutrement that came with the biscuit. The jams had little sugar. Maybe we're just too 'Indiana' but we kinda both felt that jams should be sweeter. The shaved ham type of product was great because it finally added a little bit of salt. The pimento was the only thing on the board that was a real hit. Even the 'honey' butter had, like, only a hint of honey in it. Moving onto the main course, my pancake tacos were fun and tasted fine. The wife's brussels sprout salad, though, she was strugglin'. She said it was as though the kitchen had poured vinegar on the salad. Her first bite made her cough a bit there was so much vinegar. I still remember the four pork gnocchi I had at a Lou Vino years ago. I had never tasted anything so good. I'll be back to this place and I'll still recommend to others, but the salad and biscuits, we wouldn't recommend those. Also, service was fine (though, a bit absent once the food arrived) and the place looks super cool.

I had eaten here on a prior visit to Indy and enjoyed it. This time was disappointing. An early evening reservation and they were already out of their scallops, then tried to order a fillet and turned out they were out of steaks as well. Brussels and stuffed dates were good, but unimpressed with everything else we tried.

We had a great girls brunch at LouVino. Our food was outstanding—the loaded tots were such an unexpected surprised, and we all really liked our meals. Our server took great care of us, and it was a nice space. We’d definitely come back or recommend.
