    The atmosphere of the restaurant is great and the dishes are over-expected. I feel that the chef has studied the menu very hard. Every starter is very creative, but the taste is very good in the main course, but the dish needs to be strengthened.

    Our first time @Louix Louis and we had amazing experience, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was beyond great. I loved how our waitress checked on us every minute to make sure we were happy with our food/drink and if we needed anything:) definitely will be coming back!!!

    We tried the Royal Brunch experience. Everything was on point. The chef and staff accommodated our religious food restrictions and made some substitutions. It’s on the expensive side, but given the atmosphere, the quality and quantity of food served, I actually think it was a very good value, I could have paid the same in any basic restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    Table was wobbly and restaurant is tight, food was not worth the value, they charge 9$ for water and they wouldn’t stop filling up ur glass. No consent was given to the waiter filling up my water. The girls at the front were very nice but waiters need class, our waiter was watching me pay and staring my card down as I’m trying to pay making me very uncomfortable.

    Thank you Louix Louis and Shakil for a wonderful dinner! The friendliest and attentive service, the cocktail drinks, the delicious truffle butter and warm bread, the beautiful and delicious dinner dishes.. the sea bass was PERFECTION!, the Kings cake! You really know how to pamper your guests! Cannot wait to return and try the tomahawk steak special!

    Wines were way overpriced. Food was delicious. Our server, Sylvia, was phenomenal and even gave us suggestions for places to visit while in town. Food was very good but still a little overpriced.

    Great setting. Food was good portion and tasty. Only thing I questioned was there were a lot of open booths and window seats but the hostess sat us in the middle table and the service was bad. The waiter would just float around the table and not say anything, just stares at you.

    We chose LOUIX LOUIS for the first dinner of a fine dining themed bachelorette and they did not disappoint. All of the staff treated us incredibly and were very personable and caring - paying extra attention to reassure one of our party that their allergy was known and being cared for. A spread of yummy cocktails, delicious east coast oysters, and generous portions of flavourful main dishes - we were continually impressed. The restaurant even surprised us with a complimentary gift of dessert for the table in honour of the bride to be. We will definitely be returning the next chance we get. Thank you!

    The server is friendly and the food is amazing - not cheap but tasty. The ambience is great, quiet and luxury. My only comment is the frequency of their asking whether we have finished our plates is a tiny bit too often to my liking.

    Very extensive wine menu which is great. The food was excellent, braised beef cheek was amazing! Unfortunately the service was disappointing for such an astonishing place. Two servers introduced each other first and we did not know who it was taking care of us. The first bottle of wine that we ordered came pretty fast, yet the second bottle came almost 15 minutes later. They said it was because they could not find it in the cellar. The waiting time between appetizers and mains were immensely long!! The place was not that busy but we felt abandoned by our waitress in between courses. We had to fetch someone else to ask for our mains and let them know that it has been a while. Moreover, when the mains finally came out we had no cutlery on the table. I definitely did not expect this low level of service in such a well designed and beautiful upscale atmosphere. I will definitely be back for a second try, but if the service is as bad as it was last time, I would definitely not return.

    Our server Prashant was extremely attentive and helpful, particularly as we were pressed for time to attend a show quickly following our dinner reservation. I really appreciated the help in expediting our drinks and food order. The food was outstanding. The tartar and oysters were top-notch, and the lobster bisque was que magnifique! 10/10 will return.

    This is a fabulous place for an evening of top notch service, food and drinks. It is a luxury price but worth every single penny! Bar seating is always our favourite here. Watching the mixologists do their thing is absolutely a blast. Highly recommend for a special night with someone you love or a group of friends and family.

    The food was great but for $33 crab salad the amount of green in the salad is not enough, and the dessert menu always the same old dish, maybe should add strawberry short cake to the dinner dessert menu.

    Incredible. The royal brunch is incredible value. If you’re wondering if you should, you should. We did a bunch of other stuff and would have had a better deal on it. Still amazing though. Steak and eggs were nice.
