   The food was good and the service was impeccable. I’ve been looking for authentic Louisiana food for a while and Louisiana Purchase hit the spot!

   This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. I have been here a couple of times before & absolutely loved it, which is why I decided to celebrate my sons 26th birthday here. From the very start, the service was poor at best. We had an 8 o'clock reservation & arrived a few mins early but had to wait til 8:15 to be seated. Once seated we ordered drinks which took 45 mins to arrive to our table & we still had to send two back.. We didn't get our food til after 9:45. We had to send our appetizer chicken wings back twice for being undercooked in which the chef came to our table to apologize. I can't express enough how disappointed I was with the service in general especially after speaking so highly of this restaurant & having my family travel all the way down from Vista,Ca. This was absolutely unacceptable. All they did to compensate for the poor service was remove the chicken wings from the order. They even had the audacity to charge an automatic 21% gratuity after a service like that. I expect my food to be cooked properly & served in a timely manner for a 21% gratuity on a $400 bill (6 adults/2 kids). Never again. If it was up to me, I would have rated it a 0!

   First time trying Louisiana purchase SD from different Instagram post. Food was great didn’t come prepared it was very cool and sun wasn’t out so we left quick, could use more servers. Will definitely come back again.

   We came a bit early for our reservation but Sharde sat us at the bar to wait for our table. When we got our table, the server appeared to have forgotten to get our order. When Sharde checked on us and found that, she quickly took our order. However, having only one cook, it took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. But the food was bountiful and so good, it transported us to New Orleans! Sharde made sure we got an extra helping - and she made us feel taken cared of!!!

   I feel like I am quite the food connoisseur. I love trying new places and when I like a place I def go back and recommend. This place is amazing!! Melt in your mouth, amazing! Drinks are bomb. But please….dont stop playing the jams!! I didn’t want to leave. Try this place. You won’t be sorry.

   Wow! My husband and I have been looking for some good Cajun/soul food, and this was such an amazing experience. The food was incredible, especially the oysters Rockefeller and the lemon pepper fried catfish. We also had 2 delicious mocktails. The guava one stands out! We will definitely be back and tell everyone we know about this place.

   The restaurant opened at 12pm and they were still setting up, looking for menus etc when we arrived at that time. A line formed outside and we were seated at 12:10. Our waitress was top notch though and the food was delicious.

    Great experience, food good as always ! Go early to make sure you can try all the menu items , been a few times and they were out of a few things so just make sure you go at a reasonable time .
