   We came a bit early for our reservation but Sharde sat us at the bar to wait for our table. When we got our table, the server appeared to have forgotten to get our order. When Sharde checked on us and found that, she quickly took our order. However, having only one cook, it took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. But the food was bountiful and so good, it transported us to New Orleans! Sharde made sure we got an extra helping - and she made us feel taken cared of!!!

   I feel like I am quite the food connoisseur. I love trying new places and when I like a place I def go back and recommend. This place is amazing!! Melt in your mouth, amazing! Drinks are bomb. But please….dont stop playing the jams!! I didn’t want to leave. Try this place. You won’t be sorry.

   Wow! My husband and I have been looking for some good Cajun/soul food, and this was such an amazing experience. The food was incredible, especially the oysters Rockefeller and the lemon pepper fried catfish. We also had 2 delicious mocktails. The guava one stands out! We will definitely be back and tell everyone we know about this place.

   The restaurant opened at 12pm and they were still setting up, looking for menus etc when we arrived at that time. A line formed outside and we were seated at 12:10. Our waitress was top notch though and the food was delicious.

   Great experience, food good as always ! Go early to make sure you can try all the menu items , been a few times and they were out of a few things so just make sure you go at a reasonable time .

   The service was incredibly disappointing. Upon being seated the bartender told us he was man-ing both the bar and dining area. That left my guest and I waiting an unacceptable amount of time for drinks and appetizers. It took over an hour to receive our entree and we were given our check before even receiving the food. Our server was polite but seemed overwhelmed and inattentive. I was highly disappointed given my first experience here was nothing like this. I decided to dine here in celebration of my colleague’s birthday and am sad they had this experience as a first-timer. I understand it may have been a “one-off” day but the lack of acknowledgment from the manager who seemed to be frolicking around at the time is what prompted this review.

   My daughter and I were visiting from Nashville, we went Friday night and loved it so much we went back for Easter brunch. The staff, food and overall experience was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   Had the gator bites and the jambalaya shrimp platter! They were both so amazing! Our server was very kind and attentive as well.

    This place is worth ALL the hype! Nothing but good vibes and good food here! I personally recommend the crawfish garlic parm wings as they were creamy and delicious. The sauce has chunks of crawfish in it! As a tip, the appetizers might as well be entrees because they are so large and filling. Not if, but WHEN you come here, make sure to reserve a table because this place is jumping and always busy. They ran out of beignets when we were there so we WILL be back. Oh and they offer a military discount on Mondays and Tuesdays. If you’re looking for some good soul cooking THIS IS THE PLACE! 1000/10! Can’t wait to come back!
