   I feel like I am quite the food connoisseur. I love trying new places and when I like a place I def go back and recommend. This place is amazing!! Melt in your mouth, amazing! Drinks are bomb. But please….dont stop playing the jams!! I didn’t want to leave. Try this place. You won’t be sorry.

   Wow! My husband and I have been looking for some good Cajun/soul food, and this was such an amazing experience. The food was incredible, especially the oysters Rockefeller and the lemon pepper fried catfish. We also had 2 delicious mocktails. The guava one stands out! We will definitely be back and tell everyone we know about this place.

   The restaurant opened at 12pm and they were still setting up, looking for menus etc when we arrived at that time. A line formed outside and we were seated at 12:10. Our waitress was top notch though and the food was delicious.

   Great experience, food good as always ! Go early to make sure you can try all the menu items , been a few times and they were out of a few things so just make sure you go at a reasonable time .

   The service was incredibly disappointing. Upon being seated the bartender told us he was man-ing both the bar and dining area. That left my guest and I waiting an unacceptable amount of time for drinks and appetizers. It took over an hour to receive our entree and we were given our check before even receiving the food. Our server was polite but seemed overwhelmed and inattentive. I was highly disappointed given my first experience here was nothing like this. I decided to dine here in celebration of my colleague’s birthday and am sad they had this experience as a first-timer. I understand it may have been a “one-off” day but the lack of acknowledgment from the manager who seemed to be frolicking around at the time is what prompted this review.

   My daughter and I were visiting from Nashville, we went Friday night and loved it so much we went back for Easter brunch. The staff, food and overall experience was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   Alligator cheesecake is a MUST! I am pretty picky and generally don't love seafood, but I dream about this "cheesecake". Unfortunately, I've noticed their prices have gone up, and they add a 5% surcharge as well.

   Great food and nice staff. But a couple points of constructive criticism: 1) clean the menus. They were kinda sticky. 2) bring silverware BEFORE food. We were waiting for several minutes with food in front of us before utensils/napkins came (which we had to ask for). Otherwise, I'd definitely go back. Nice to have a place with underrepresented cuisine in the area (i.e. not pizza or burgers).

   Food was good but everything else needs improvement. The server didn’t come over to our table until 10 mins after being sat. Then waters 10 mins after that. Took about 30min for a drink at the bar. Finally ordered and the entrees came out one at a time and everyone was sitting and waiting for each other’s food to not be rude. We finally decided to just start eating, by the time the last entree came out people were already finished eating. For the fine dining price of the food service needs to be on point. This place was disorganized to say the least. I won’t be back.

    We ABSOLUTELY love Louisiana Purchase, the food "chef's kiss" the music is good , the drinks are amazing!! Every year coming from Sacramento this is a must stop no matter what we have planned!! It is a VIBE !! :)
