   Gabriella Martin makes sure the Louisiana is consistently good and a wonderful elegant dining experience! She works so hard along with her staff to make every diner feel special

   As usual, a top shelf experience all the way around. AJ took great care of us and we had a waterfront table for Mother’s Day! We will be back of course.

   This is usually my first choice when dining out here in Orange Beach. The food as always was excellent and our server was attentive with helpful ordering ideas. The noise level in the smaller side room was off the charts loud and made conversation almost impossible. I would not stay if that was our table again. Took all the pleasure out of dining there.

   We had the best time! The soft shell crab ( you have to ask ) were the best I've ever had & I have lots of experience. They were huge, moist, & very flavorful. Our after dinner coffees were excellent as well. Laura took great care of our table. Wish we lived closer.

   Louisiana Lagniappe has long been a favorite of ours. We’ve dined here many times and always appreciated not just the delicious food, but the elegant, elevated atmosphere that typically accompanies it. Unfortunately, this recent visit did not live up to those standards. While the food was, as always, exceptional; consistently flavorful and well-executed. However,the ambiance left much to be desired. The dining room was so noisy it felt more like a cafeteria than the fine dining experience we’ve come to expect at this price point. We asked our server’s assistant about the music, and he agreed it was odd that none was playing. He said he would speak to the manager. We watched as he did,only to see her glance over, roll her eyes, and return to setting a table. When he returned, he informed us that she was busy and would get to it when she could. After sitting through the harsh clatter of dishes and the loud whirl of the daiquiri machine for a while longer, we felt compelled to ask again. My wife went to the hostess stand to speak with the manager directly. Unfortunately, she was met with more dismissiveness. The manager informed her that the music was already on, and turning it up wouldn’t make a difference because “people would just talk louder.” She claimed there were over 250 people in the restaurant, but at 7 PM, it was far from full. The attached videos show both the sparse crowd and the near-total absence of music, even in the lobby. I have an auditory processing disorder, and loud, inconsistent background noise like clattering dishes and loud machinery is especially difficult for me. We chose Louisiana Lagniappe specifically because it has historically offered a calm, elegant environment. That expectation was not met, and it was disappointing. We hope this feedback is taken seriously. The food remains outstanding, but the atmosphere and the dismissive response to a very real concern left us questioning whether this is still the experience we’ve come to love.

   Rachel, We very appreciate your visit & your review. You visited during Mother's Day weekend (Saturday) near peak dinner time. We are aware the noise level can be quite overwhelming for some of our guests at certain times when the restaurant is at full / near full capacity, when louder guests/groups are present & during busy times. With all due respect, raising our music volume would only lead to guests talking louder over it which will in turn produce much noisier environment. I wasn't aware about your auditory processing disorder. It wasn't mentioned in your reservation or to me during our conversation. FYI: I'd have personally called you to re-schedule for a different, less busy time/day if this were mentioned in your reservation. Best Regards, Gabriela Martin General Manager

   Food was excellent only to be surpassed by the service from Tia who took excellent care of us. I am in a wheelchair and they made every accomadation to help me be comfortable. We live in Orange And it it our favorite place yo take family and guests. Their fried soft shell crab is the best I have ever eaten.

    We had a wonderful experience and were lucky enough to have Austin as our server. He is always great and makes dinner a wonderful experience. We had the grouper and it was fabulous .
