This is my 8-10 time going to Louie’s. The food has been fantastic every time and the service has always been great as well.

We went during Saturday brunch , Outdoor seating best view of the port and great service. We were running late and they were able to keep our table. We ordered appetizers seafood platter, crab cakes, and bread service. Cocktails on point. Bolognese pasta, prime rib sandwich, Cioppino very delicious! 😋 I want to experience dinner service next time to taste more of their delicious food.

Louie's has become our "go to" restaurant for all of our special occasions. The food, ambience and service are all consistently outstanding and the pricing for on the water dining in Newport Beach is very reasonable, which is why it's perfect for large or small gatherings.

We ate here last year around the same time and the food was amazing. But this year when we went and ordered the same food and it was really fair or below fair. We ordered the way over priced $60 steak and the meat didn’t seem to be high grade and was smothered in a flavor was really off and left a horrible aftertaste.The service wasn’t great either. We were made to feel like we were bothering them and they made faces when we asked a question. We will not go here again. We did notify the management of our experience, but as of about 10 days ago we still have not heard back. I don’t anticipate we will. This is sad. It was such a good place originally.

First, our server was amazing. It was super busy for Easter Sunday and he was calm, gracious and was super prompt with everything. The live steel drum music was very festive. The menu was varied which was great for the whole family and all of the items were delicious. Wonderful meal!
