It was forever closed. So, not a good experience at all.
This restaurant is closed. There is a letter on the door stating that they are closed.
This restaurant has permanently closed however it still appears on OpenTable.
The menu looked great online. We got there and it had been closed down, even though we had confirmed reservations. So disappointing 😫.
Returns to is CLOSED. CLOSED. CLOSED. CLISED. CLOSED.
No hostess on a Sunday night in mid-August. Couldn't get attention of anyone to seat us though we had reservations. Pretty screwed up at the front.
Great vegan options. The spring rolls were terrific. Wish we were staying longer so we could come back and try more dishes.
Terrible. Food was nothing like it was described. They said they were closing on Sunday and we should have left because it was God AWFUL
Unfortunately third times was NOT a charm; service and food mediocre at best
The only true organic/vegan restaurant for miles, Lotus has not been disappointing until this time.
Two waiters, neither efficient
Food arrived luke warm as if it was sitting in the kitchen for a while before being served; ordered bison burger medium well and received it medium rare instead with bacon hardly fried
Give it another/last chance off season
Exceptionally bad. They were very understaffed, and couldn’t get orders correct (and these were straightforward, no-substitution orders). Waited a very long time. We had an 11:30 reservation but seated at 11:45. We ordered at 12:10, food arrived at 12:40. Also, the restrooms were very dirty. I do NOT recommend this place at all.
It was nice to see so many vegan and vegetarian options, as well as meat options for the carnivores in our group. However, the food didn't really match the descriptions on the menu and was very bland overall. My husband had fish and chips and said that it was very dry. I had the Buddha bowl with Tofu and rice noodles. The description made it sound like a big bowl of stir fried vegetables with an indian curry sauce. When it came it was mostly noodles and filled with raw spinach. There were very few other the other vegetables and the sauce was more like a salad dressing. Very disappointing. We also had multiple waiters who didn't seem to coordinate the service. I won't be back.
Very pleasant dinner while visiting Jackson from France. Healthy food including tasty vegetable juices. We chose the salads. The decoration is very nice and the seats very comfortable.
Service was wonderful and outside dinning was nice on rooftop. My dish was very small for the price and didn’t fill me up and it was ok.
Our experience started out odd and quickly became worse throughout the night. We ordered cocktails as soon as we got there and they did not come until we were almost done with our appetizers. We asked for them to not bring our entrees until we were done with our cocktails but within 2 minutes our entrees were brought out. The food was OK. Not anything noteworthy. The pad thai was not traditional pad thai so if that's what you are looking for go somewhere else. The staff were horribly inattentive and made us uncomfortable. Perhaps the restaurant was having a bad day in terms of staffing issues (there did not appear to be a bartender just waitresses making drinks when they could (which, like I said, took at least 20 min to be brought out).
Great food, though at 6 PM they were already out of one of the items we wanted to order. Also, I ordered a Chardonnay, a house Chardonnay. There was no wine or drink menu given to us upfront. When we got the bill, my one glass of wine was $14 – pretty steep for a house chard.
An outstanding dining experience with guests from out of town. Guest had dietary preferences, namely gluten-free and lactose free, that LOTUS could meet. Will recommend LOTUS>
The server didn't speak much English. He had a hard time understanding our order. He also had a hard time explaining the specials or questions we had about the menu. The food was great!
Sunday brunch. All organic, locally sourced and expertly executed. The healthiest meal we’ve eaten on this long vacation. Appreciated the attention to detail. Juice and coffee were best quality. Meals were delicious and satisfying. Paleo cookie and donuts were a perfect end to a relaxing time. Service was impeccable and we loved the balcony seating - perfect shade and temperature. Place just has a great vibe. Only wished we had found it before our last meal in Jackson.
Planned this restaurant for a year when we started planning a western trip. Cod tacos worth the wait!
Waited a long time for food, two people had pad Thai, horrible, no flavor, cold, over kill on sprouts. One order of the beef pho, no flavor(barely warm), on a positive note, the turkey and avocado sandwich was very flavorful. Restaurant was beautiful. Went to this restaurant because of Guy Fiera’s (sp.) review. Very disappointed.
Food and table service was great. However, had to wait more than a half an hour for our reservation. We were told not to make reservation through open table but must call restaurant directly in order to get a table when expected.
Air conditioning not up!! Food great!! Seemed as though new staff!! We are upstairs and refills were hard to get !! Delicious cake etc!
I loved all the vegan options, and the ambiance was very chic. The prices were a bit extravagant, and the food was not spectacular, as you would except at that price point. I ordered the green bowl with added tofu and was super excited about it, but I guess I overinflated my expectations. It came with a basic sauce, but most of the ingredients stayed dry and were rather bland. It was the most expensive dinner on our vacation and not worth what we paid in my humble opinion. The service was slow on top of it. I was disappointed.
Had family up for the Fourth. We decided late in the afternoon that we'd try dinner at the Lotus Cafe. I went on line to show them the menu and found a link to make a reservation. When we got to the restaurant, there was no seating for walk-ins. If I hadn't found the reservations link, we would have had to eat elsewhere. Great and friendly diners option! Love this place!
Awesome! It was a great experience! The best organic restraint I have been to! The gluten free bread is amazing. It stays together and it tasted like real bread!
Great wholesome food, good and quiet ambience. Lots of options and sure to please everyone.
Food was amazing however the service was very poor. Our server was curt and disappeared for the bulk of our dinner. We had to ask another staff member to track him down.
Very good food
Service a little slow but they gave a few free desserts
One of my family's favorite restaurants, but don't order the Pho. Bland noodles, tasteless broth, and 4 broccoli flowerets comprise the vegan Pho, and the beef Pho had one blob of peculiar meat floating in the broth. Go for anything else on the menu, as the other options are wonderful.
Service was shaky. Had to ask for waiter after 10 minutes and was greeted with "what can I do for you?". Meals were lukewarm and under-cooked.
Spoke with manager who was very attentive and apologetic. I'll just chalk it up to a bad night. All our dining experiences in Jackson were less than good.
Had a pleasant evening seated on the deck. The food was good but nothing special. Good selection of Vegetarian dishes. Service was patchy ... a lot of newbies at the start of the summer season. Had trouble finding an ice bucket for the wine! Ambience was very nice. One of the more reasonably priced restaurants in Jackson
If you like vegan or vegetarian this place would be great. If you aren’t, I would go somewhere else menu is somewhat limited and just not that great.
Burger was great! Had that since they didn’t have their brisket available. Had the special corn soup. Was okay but wouldn’t order again. 2 has the Pad Thai and stated it had no taste and the worst they ever tasted. Has a lot gluten and Vegan/organic options. More of a yuppie restaurant. Nice inside. Not sure if u want to bring young kids. Went because it was listed as a Triple D choice. Sidewinder restaurant has been the best so far out of the Triple D’s listed.
Miss the old place. Less variety and less charm. Food solid but not exceptional. Worth going only because there is nothing else like it in Jackson.
Our experience sucked. The service was terrible. It took forever to get seated. One server was dismissive while we waited and told us that someone would be along to seat us and it took forever. They forgot our drink order, then failed to refill them. I won’t be back nor would I recommend it to anyone.
We really enjoy Lotus and their dinner menu is quite varied. It is all organic and offers a lot of gluten free options. A great, tasty choice for a healthy meal out. Lotus seems to be filling a niche market in dining out in Jackson Hole. The 15 hour brisket and elk lasagna are two of our favorites. And their relatively new location on Cache St is very attractive.
We all ordered three different items and they were all bland
Off season so lightly staffed. Server was excellent but was spread too thin. Would come back.
The Vietnamese soup was large, hot and extra ordinary tasty
The tacos followed suit
Drinks were interesting and tasting
Definitely a keeper
