   Los Mochis in the City has always been one of my favourite spots — especially as everything is GF - great vibe, good food, and usually solid service. But this visit left me second-guessing whether I’ll be back anytime soon. The standards just weren’t what they used to be, and it felt like something was missing. Dan has always made a big difference whenever I’ve been — he just gets hospitality and knows how to make guests feel looked after. I think he was off this time, and while that shouldn’t make or break the experience, it kind of did. Service felt off, and the attention to detail just wasn’t there. We waited 20 mins for sparkling water at the start, had to ask twice for food menus, had to wait 15 mins for ice (in the end ordering from another server as the first person didn’t return), and the matcha Blondie dessert wasn’t gooey as usual, but overbaked. G&T also had no garnish and the Chardonnay was a little on the small side. It’s a shame because the place has so much potential, but without consistency, especially when key team members aren’t around, it loses a bit of its charm.

   The girl at the entrance was quite abrupt and not the most helpful. We only had drinks so can’t comment on the food. Drinks were nice but the staff seemed to be constantly rushing around and not creating a relaxed atmosphere. On two occasions waiters tried to take drinks away when we hadn’t finished them. Venue is very nice but customer service could be better.

   Appauling experience. Beautiful restaurant and good terrace but they took 45 mins to take our order only gave us half our order and lost the rest. Every drink we ordered took 20 mins to come and the service was slow and time it was someone different, took the service charge off! Took 3 hours to have a meal because they were so slow!

   Ridiculously over priced, bland food. Poor service and champagne served warm. Will not be going back.

   Restaurant has a nice vibe and food was very tasty but you are paying quite a lot for what you actually get. Caesar salad is made in front of you, but the experience was disappointing - it took forever to make it and half the ingredients weren't on the trolley that they bring over to make it.

    Came back to Los Mochis after having a fantastic rooftop business lunch a few weeks prior. Requested to sit on the rooftop and told on the night that it was closed for a private event. I understand this, but please let me know in advance rather than telling me on the day. Music was overpowering. It should be slightly quieter indoors where people are eating and more of a vibe in the bar area. The speakers should be zoned to cope with this. The service was a bit slapdash and somewhat theatrical. The food arrived and the servers didn't make room for the dishes. We only ordered 4 items and they simply plonked them on the table and stood there waiting for us to make room on the table for them. There was also no explanation of the dishes, particularly the sharing seabass dish and no recommendations made. The sommelier was a bit showy and not genuine. It seemed like the service was more for show than actual service. We felt rushed to leave the table after 2 hours. Disappointed and probably wouldn't return again for a dinner. I would only do a business lunch, but only if I called ahead to make sure my table requests were able to be accommodated.
