Bringing together gastropub classics and a traditional open fireplace – our bistro-bar is the perfect recipe for a satisfying supper. Or join us in our restaurant. Our mouth-watering seasonal menus are complimented by a stunning selection of wines. In summer, why not head outdoors for dinner. New to Chard and this was our first visit. Food was very tasty but service was poor, especially given it was not busy! Table wasn't cleared between courses and barely checked back on/offered additional drinks, desserts or coffees. Extra family members arrived during our meal and were neither greeted nor offered menus or drinks. Disappointing given it came highly recommended and was for a special occasion.

Always a pleasure to dine at the Lordleaze, the food is high quality as is the cooking and service and some good offers always make it excellent value for money. We will be back

The food is good and service is outstanding. Steak cooked as requested and green Thai curry flavoursome (however very spicy and I was given mango chutney and yogurt to cool it down.) Cosy sit by the fireside after. Lordleaze is a perfect retreat with a great restaurant and fabulously welcoming staff.

Food was extremely good and very nice service. We were seated in the bar area and the experience was only slightly marred by muzak that was a bit too loud. Prices are a bit on the high side too. Otherwise would happily return.

Lovely. We stayed here before our wedding in 2023 and had a lovely time. Food very good. Went for lunch with friends - extremely good value with 2-for-1 on mains which we didn’t know until we paid. Fish and chips lovely but too much batter and food wait a bit too long. Overall, though, very nice.
