                                    Spectacular dining experience. Our favorites were the beef and duck. Exciting preparation and top notch execution of the whole experience. Loved the skin contact viognier!

                                    We were really looking forward to trying L’Orange. Honestly, we were disappointed. The starter plates good; the main dishes a miss. The pasta was cold when it arrived. We mentioned to to the server, who said they would let chef know. Noting more(a visit from chef would have have been well received). We asked from where the sea bass came, as the menu is described as highlighting PNW ingredients. We were told Texas! Lastly, perhaps my own miss on the description the restaurant is on the second floor. Very steep flight of stairs to get there. Prospective guests should know this restaurant would not be an option for anyone in a wheelchair, or unable to maneuver significant stairs.

                                    My husband and I sat at the counter and loved watching the activity in the kitchen and visiting with other diners at the counter. This restaurant is in an old house and has a very warm and inviting environment. The staff were all very friendly and the service was impeccable! The food, each course was something special - from cucumber soup, a bean dish we drooled over, to beef cheek, and then the orange cake with port! Everything was memory building and made for a very special evening.

                                    We had an amazing experience at L'Orange in the private dining room for 5 guests. The service was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, the food was outstanding and the ambience was just perfect. It was our first time and we were hosting guests from out of town and we all just thought it was the perfect evening. I can't wait to go back.

                                    I've been several times to this restaurant which is a true "Neighborohood Gem" but last night was disappointing - it was like the food had been bulk prepared in advance - dry duck, salad not cold, although the Hamachi was good. It just looks like the standard has dropped which is a shame as the atmosphere, service, wine and other things are really welcoming. Hope they don't slip further. Others we were with commented much the same.

                                    Has typically been very consistent and high quality experience. Seeing signs of changes that raise my concern levels after many visits since opening. Hope they improve customer service and not sacrifice that as part of the experience.

                                    The tasting menu was full of surprises, most of them enjoyable. Many unusual flavor combinations were unexpected wins. A few however missed in our opinion. But the parade of offerings made for a delightful celebration. The wine pairings were all exceptional and delicious. Service was excellent. Our table in the intimate purple room was pleasant, although a woman in the adjoining blue room laughed boisterously and continuously during the 3 hour dining experience which was an annoyance. Overall, a memorable birthday splurge.

                                    Such a lovely experience in this cozy spot! Food is delicious, servers are attentive and friendly, and even the chef delivered some of our food! I so appreciate the top quality food & service coupled with the relaxed atmosphere - it runs like a well-oiled machine without that feeling of being a cog in a machine. Eat here! You’ll love it!
