   The service was really good and everyone was friendly. The food was good but honestly a little bland. The guacamole was good not great. The fritters were bland but the sauce was good. The chicken mole was bland but the rice and beans were good. The carnitas tacos were really good. My main complaint is the lower dining area. It is nearly impossible to move around and needs one of the tables removed. I will give it another try down the road but overall it was just fine but avoid the lower dining area.

   Great food and drinks. Service top notch! Shawn was gracious and efficient! Careful with the margaritas though, they’re delicious and powerful. Highly recommend.

   2nd trip to Lopez. Food did not have same wow factor. Guacamole was premade and brought out of fridge as was the cowboy caviar. Good beer selection and cocktails.

   Good food but service was a bit slow. I love the brighter environment but it was cold in the restaurant.

   The food quality was superior and very generous portions!!!! Our server was attentive and pleasant, too!

   Service was great. The Branzino is a very small portion. The other food was wonderful.

   I was sadly disappointed this location did not compare to the Lee Rd/Cleveland Hts location I was once in love with. Our server was not engaging, friendly, or welcoming. But maybe she was having an off day… and maybe not, because she was very chatty with the table directly behind us. The spring wait staff that delivered our food was much more pleasing. The atmosphere is slightly cramped, but manageable. That was a problem, but it also overly crowded with guests. We went s as soon as they opened. I loved the bright pictures on the walls, but my party came for the food. The food came out fairly quickly, and it was very underwhelming. We started off strong with the delicious guacamole and chips. The corn elote fritters were served “blackened”. I’m not sure why anyone would bring those to our table knowing they were well overcooked. Lastly, the fajitas came with three tortillas and did not have enough of anything for three of anything. Just serve two tortillas with seasoned meat and veggies. I still miss the Lopez I once knew.

   Everything was great except for the check-in process. We had a reservation but still needed to wait about 15 minutes with nowhere to stand inside the restaurant and feeling as if you are standing on top of people while they are trying to eat. This is understandable as it is a relatively new restaurant in a small town and we are all excited to go there! Hoping this smooths out as time goes on.  For this reason, choose a table “upstairs“ if you have an option.

    Average Mexican fare, nothing over the top. Service was good, space is very cramped tables very close together. Not much ambience. Will not rush back.
