Chagrin Falls is a small village, and as such the dining options are limited. Lopez has existed in different guises in different locations around the area for years, but this was our first occasion to dine at Lopez 44 on Main St. The food was excellent. Our waiter made fitting recommendations that were well suited to our tastes after asking a couple questions. We had some peach and mezcal cocktails that were fantastic. Overall the food, drinks, and service exceeded our expectations. It's great to know we have this option close to home. The ambiance is very relaxed, and suitable both for a couples dinner or bringing children.

I have a feeling I may have hit this place on a bad night. Our server Maddie was wonderful. Unfortunately, the food not so much. Three of us order salmon, and all of them were undercooked, fishy, and overseasoned … Making them in edible. I got the chicken quesadillas… They were edible… Just not very good. They were mushy and not crisp and not enjoyable to eat. We ordered the hot chocolate dessert… And we were warned. It was going to be very hot. We were actually blowing on the spoon to cool it down before we ate it. Upon tasting the dessert we realized it was frozen. Literally frozen. So… It was a busy night… I wish you all good luck and I hope you have a better experience!

The noise level was obnoxious Despite having a reservation, we waited for at least 10 minutes to somebody to even greet us at which point a man said he'd be right with us. And then we waited another 10 minutes and in the waiting area. You are right in front of the door with everybody walking in there is absolutely no room, completely disappointing experience. Additionally, there was a piece of a brillo pad in my drink. The food is good, but the restaurant environment service is not worth it.

Vegetables, mostly just peppers and onions, in fajitas really overcooked. Veggie only one was thus blah. Beef one was good for the beef. Cocktail top notch though.
