   Delicious food. Fun atmosphere. Wish they were more flexible with creating a vegetarian friendly kids dish.

   Visited with my wife for dinner on 26APR. Esquites, queso fundido, and suadero tacos were all excellent which made my experience with the tinga de jamaica tacos very disappointing. These were very gritty and had hard pellets in them that the server confirmed were seeds that they try their best to remove. What I received, which was like eating sand, I assume is not the intended experience and I am sad that I didn't have the opportunity to see what they are like when properly prepared. What really bothered me is besides noting that they were seeds there did not seem to be ownership or concern (there was no apology or assurance that this is not what was intended) over the fact that the dish being served was not up to par. There is a world in which the customer service I received would have left me walking away feeling understood and okay, but unfortunately I just felt that the server was disinterested and did not especially care about the experience being provided. The item was ultimately taken off the check, again with no acknowledgement that something had gone wrong, which I do appreciate, but the customer service approach left me with an overall negative impression. A bad night and a bad set of circumstances I am sure, but one that does not leave me eager to return or recommend.

   Beautiful decor, great Taco Tuesday dinner but for the group, the big table and loud music made conversation difficult. Server and food were warm and wonderful! Accommodated allergies with grace.

   A wonderful place to go for special events. I booked this reservation for my mom’s birthday and she loved it! Great drinks and delicious food with a nice atmosphere! Definitely recommend going and will go back.

   Lolita's offers a welcoming atmosphere with truly great service and some good drinks. However, the food itself proved to be a bit of a mixed bag. While the hot sauce/salsa is a definite highlight, the main dishes left something to be desired. The much-talked-about Carne Asada "fries" were surprisingly breakfast-style potatoes, which, while having a good flavor, felt underwhelming for the price, especially lacking expected additions like guacamole and jalapeños. My sopes featured brisket that unfortunately was quite dry, though the other components were indeed quite tasty. Overall, Lolita's shows promise with its service and beverages, but the food quality needs more consistency to truly impress.
