This was our first time here, my son (age 11) has been wanting to try paella. EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD! We will definitely be back!
Had the meat Fideuas for two. Excellent. Generous portion size. Rich, full flavor. Great value for the meal. We'll go again.
The food and cocktails were outstanding. We sat on the side patio outdoors and it was a lovely little space with heaters available if needed. Must get the paella. It was our first visit but we will definitely be back!
Authentic experience with great food that never disappoints.
Ordered the combination Paella (seafood and meat) for two. It takes a half hour to prepare which was OK and since I have made it in the past knew should take a while. It arrived after about a half hour. What a joke. It was 95 % a bowl of nicely flavored rice. Two, that is 2 scallops were the only discernable seafood. Several small pieces of sausage were the only discernable meat although you knew that some of the firmer tiny white pieces must be chicken. The shrimp when I finely saw one were the tiny 200 + count to the pound types. Couldn't even begin to guess the weight of the meat and seafood, so I will say about as much as you get at a vegan restaurant. In summary, it was a $5 bowl of nicely flavored rice for $39. Everything else about the place was mediocre with the exception of a nice bottle of good, fairly priced wine.
Never disappoints! Everything was great
My dinner companion and I thought that the garlic shrimp and the garlic mushrooms were delicious however the paella was disappointing, because it did not have enough seafood and it was dry.
Good food and service. Always a good meal at Lola’s
Friends reconnecting after >2 years away.
The order was short of food and then undercooked. The prices were high for paella that was underwhelming and mostly rice.
Excellent for New Year’s Eve! Great food and service.
The food was awesome. The ambience was great and the service was good. Highly recommend Lola’s
Never disappoints. The locals and out-of-Townes in the know dine here. Make a reservation and avoid the wait! Delicious sangria!
New Years eve
Our reservation was for 8:45, and we arrived on time. We were asked to wait and weren’t seated until 9:05. We saw that it was busy so it took a while for our waiter to come to our table. He was visibly overwhelmed. We ordered a bottle of wine and some appetizers which came around 9:30. When he finally came back around to take our order, it was 10:00. We ordered the paella, and he came back saying paella ends at 9:00. We were disappointed but decided to move on. Then he came back and said we couldn’t order dinner at all because the kitchen closed at 9:30. We were given no prior notification of this. We were very upset, and when I spoke to the manager, she acted like it was my fault saying “Why did it take you an hour to order your entrees?” I tried to explain that the server didn’t come by until after 9:30. He said, “I like to let the customers determine the pace of their meal.” It was egregious that they would try to blame us for this mess. The manager said she would try to see if they could turn the grills back on and came back saying we could all eat if we had the linguini. We opted to have our appetizers comped and received a gift card. It was a very disappointing experience especially since we had family from out of town dining with us. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone based on the service. I really cannot comment on the food since we didn’t actually get to eat.
Service s little slow and we had a long wait for our table but the food was delicious and its a very cool setting. It looked so pretty set up with lights.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Beautiful outdoor dining option, very good service, excellent food and wine, from soup to dessert!
As always, the food was outstanding. The service was also outstanding, especially in light of the fact that a bad thunderstorm knocked out the electricity. They brought in candles and somehow pushed through to cook and serve to perfection!
Go ahead and get the pitcher of sangria it is to die for and homemade. Everything tastes so fresh and you can tell it’s made in House. If you don’t mind the intense garlic taste the garlic shrimp was my favorite. It takes a while but it’s perfectly cooked. I was so sad I was so full and I didn’t get to try the desserts. Our waiter Cody was awesome. I will definitely be back
Generous and delicious seafood paella. Wait staff quick, friendly and efficient. Power went out briefly and they handled it with geace
I think this place is pretty cute and good food. Check it out.
Delicious food, excellent service, and wonderful ambiance!
Really nice! Staff seemed overwhelmed.
Amazing service, food, drinks and ambiance!! Love this place!
Always amazing! Love this place!
Loved the food and atmosphere. Highly recommend!
In the past couple of years the paella is sometimes great, sometimes underwheming but LAST NIGHT it was TERRIFIC. I think it is LeBron who is cheffing the paella. All the food was great, service was WONDERFUL. Only one request. Please carefully check the vaccination and booster cards rather than just a cursory glance. The outdoors that has been added is lovely.
Always a wonderful time at Lola's. Can't wait to return.
Food was very salty, vegetables and seafood appeared to have been frozen.
We have been to Lola's many times and came this time for the paella. It was cold, and we had to be seated outside because that was our request when making the reservation. There was no flexibility offered to change that option. The only tables we were given to choose from were on the curb. I asked to be reseated but was told it wasn't possible, in a not very friendly manner. During our meal we breathed exhaust fumes and had a view of the side of a panel truck. The bathroom was being worked on, so we were told we could not be seated to the side of the restaurant - our preferred place. 15 minutes into our wait for our paella they started seating people there. We were also told the one large table inside was booked. No one was seated there the entire time we were eating. Our waitress worked hard to please us, and I would give kudos to her efforts. However, whoever manages the seating was obviously not interested in being flexible in order to please a local customer. I'm not sure we will be going back to Lola's.
Great Spanish restaurant in a neighborhood setting - inside and outside tables to enjoy the pleasant ambiance of Midcity. Efficient, friendly staff provide excellent service. Delicious food cooked fresh ' so be prepared to wait for paella - worth the wait. Wonderful place to celebrate my wife's birthday with family!
Best paella of my life. Great flavorful tapas as well
Can’t wait to go again!
Food was quite good but the order was very messed up. Server could not have been nicer but was clearly overworked. My dinner came without the shrimp I ordered. And my husband never got his meal. Two hours and we needed to leave. I would give it another try but without kids.
They just didn’t have their act together.
Food/paella was superb. Service over the top. Ate at an outside table
Very nice restaurant.
Outstanding paella and fiduea. Lola’s is a unique experience!!
The lamb stew is to die for but skip the paella
Our dinner was delicious! The service was excellent!
