Great, unique Mexican restaurant.
Our first time at this restaurant. We really enjoyed it! I especially appreciated the availability of vegan options.
I enjoyed my meal at Lola. I had brunch with a friend, and the service was excellent, the food was tasty, and the atmosphere was relaxing and nice. I would definitely return and recommend to friends.
great food and service. The margaritas were outstanding
Overall this was a very good time out, the service was excellent. The food was expensive for the amount of food we received. The service staff saw we where a party of 7 when we ordered the appetizers they could have informed us that it would not be enough to share or to suggest an appetizer to share.
If they went to bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s, it would get the 5 starts.
Always a great meal at Lola!
Never disappointing, just wish I didn’t live so far away.
Overpriced. It's an enchilada. $16? Really? It wasn't bad, just not worth what you have to pay.
Blah.... on all levels.
I never review - but this place was terrible. Chipotle outshines this place in quality, value, and service. Wouldn’t go back, ever.
Lola did a wonderful job accommodating our large group for Brunch, including our kids! Food and drinks were very good, atmosphere was great and so was the service.
We were celebrating our daughter Lola’s 3rd birthday and the staff was very accommodating! We enjoyed our dining experience and so did the rest of our party!
Food was good but not great. We ate on the enclosure patio but the temperature was too hot from the heater and the direct sun in my eyes was annoying. The drinks we average but very pricey.
Sea scallops have robust flavor but relatively small portion. Mole (squash/seasonal) was very good-add seasoned chicken for protein and even more good flavor. Drinks pricey unless during happy hour. Churros and banana cream pie were wonderful but pie was tiny (4 bites).
The service was amazing but the food was not good. The drinks were watered down and the food was mediocre. I have gone in the past for dinner which is good but brunch was disappointing. I would not go back for brunch.
Amazing food! Pricey but worth it!
Dinner took 1 hour 15 min to arrive. After chatting with the manager about it, she barely felt sorry and then proceeded to make a sarcastic joke about how many appetizer oysters we had ordered (they were good and she said “well you liked those didn’t you?! So there’s that”) and tried to play off the huge dinner delay. She walked away and came back later to apologize for her behavior but damage was done and my husband was not happy. Service was great and food was decent, the mole was delish, but pretty spicy without indication on the menu. The Manager did comp a significant amount off of our bill but that just proved to us her behavior was inappropriate and she needed to make up for it. A lot of money was spent there by our group, even after the comp, but no regard was given to the fact that food should not take over 30 min in a restaurant unless otherwise stated.
The most extensive tequila menu in Colorado (that I’ve seen). Tequila tasting just like wine tasting. JT was our server, and fantastic. Great suggestions and service. Not typical Mexican food, upscale, unique, delicious. Pricy but worth it. I eat here a couple times a year or more.
Coolest restaurant I’ve been to in a while and the horchata sundae is the dessert I will now dream about forever
Good food, good drinks, relaxed environment.
Food was awesome. It was a bit loud for conversation
Delicious food and great ambience. Fairly noisy but it fit for the type meet and greet it was.
Trying to be so fancy they forgot the basics. Great venue, drinks and guacamole. Everything else was too manipulated you couldn’t tell what it was suppose to be. Keep it simple let the food speak for itself.
Lauren was fantastic and the food was very good.
I hadn’t been to Lola for dinner in quite a while. I had been to brunch recently, which was great.
I was reminded why this restaurant has survived so long in Denver. The food was spicy and delicious. The seafood was fresh. The drinks were great! The server handled our group of 7 with ease.
I will be going back soon!
They were great!! Took great care of us and made the group feel special!
We love the Big Red F restaurants and had always wanted to try Lola (we live in Boulder). Such a wonderful treat! Will definitely return!
Best friend found her wedding dress!
Had a great brunch sitting at the bar this past Sunday. The Lobster Deviled Eggs and the doughnuts were to die for - and everything else we tried was pretty incredible as well. Will definitely be back.
We have excellent service by James Fly on the patio, great recommendations on food and drink, everything came out wonderfully. We will be back!
This place is lovely to look at and the service was top notch (I was even treated to a birthday shot)! Unfortunately the food is terrible! They try way too hard to be trendy and hipster and they ruin the food in the process. It's unconventional and awful. The only thing that was palatable was the guacamole and chips and the sangria. Outside of that, I would never eat here again. I can't see how anything that they serve can be considered Mexican. To top it all off, it's super expensive. Maybe I wouldn't have minded a $150 bill if i could have enjoyed the food.
Always great! We’ve been enjoying LoLa’s for years!
James, our server, was fantastic! Food was amazing! And drinks were great, also!
Killer smoky (go with the "spicy") salsa, tableside guac and clean-recipe margaritas. The staff are friendly and enjoyable. Do not skip the Gazpacho or the Pozole... they are to die for!
Brunch is definitely the way to go here. Been here once before for dinner but it was lackluster. Glad we tried brunch!!
Amazing high class and high concept Mexican food. Very popular, definitely make reservations. The food was incredible and the churros were the best I've ever had (caramel filling and really amazing chocolate dipping sauce). Definitely recommended!!
Traveling to Colorado for a long weekend and decided to try Lola. It’s a cool looking place! Service was very professional, but slightly inattentive: there were long waits between visits from our server. Chips and salsa were very good. All our dishes were over salted.
Lola's has always been a nice spot to take a date. The front-end hostesses seemed confused on how to use the reservation system & kept asking for my name.
Service was good but not great. Food had a lot of promise but just didn’t deliver. With so much great available in the neighborhood, it was just not up to par for a Saturday night dinner.
