   A lot of oblivious girls standing around doing nothing. Took 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge we walked through the door even though they looked at us several times. They certainly weren’t that busy as they all relaxed around a cook eating French fries and whatever else. Pasta was gross, I like the lid fell off the Cajun seasoning and dumped into the dish. Burger and sandwich was meh. Took two waitresses and three times of asking for water before it came thirty minutes into waiting although we were the only customers in the dining room. Used to love this place and highly recommended it. But not anymore, disappointing to say the least.

   Please skip this location. At every restaurant I attend I try to weigh the pros and the cons. The cons significantly outweighed any pros. They did not honor my reservation for outdoor seating. Instead, when I arrived, they said that they had no outdoor seating available. Which is odd because I had a reservation, how is it possible that you let me choose outdoor seating, during the reservation process, yet there is no outdoor seating available when I arrive. The food was bland. I have never tasted fried fish with no seasoning before but today I most certainly did. The service was less than desirable. It seemed as if we were bothering the waitress any time that we asked for any thing. Ketchup, Tabasco, water, anything. Save your money guys and go elsewhere.

   Will NOT be returning. First of all we had a reservation which we did not need as the place was empty on a Saturday night at 7. The host walked us all the way to the back bar then had to turn us around and walk back thru the outside bar to seat us near the front as the back table was full. Then I ordered the filet. They were out. So I ordered the sirloin. Also out. So I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. I got a cheeseburger without bacon. There was one couple at the bar drinking and cursing loudly over the football game. Yelling curses. The music was loud and then cut out intermittently the entire meal. We asked if it could be shut off and the waitress apologized that the manager would not. The manager was eating in the main dining room and did not seem concerned with anything. Waitresses were seen carrying glasses to tables with their fingers inside of the glass. Our server was sweet and very attentive so I tipped her well but will definitely NOT return. This was not even somewhat okay for a restaurant. In my husbands jambalaya the shrimp still had tails on. No pickle with a burger??? Would strongly NOT recommend. I would have been so embarrassed had we brought friends with us. Unbelievable. If my husband who never complains tells me to write a review you know it was beyond bad.

    Great views of the river and marina from tables on the back porch. Scallops were the best ever! Mahi Mahi fish and chips were good. Excellent service.

    Lockside is always consistent with quality of food. We really enjoy eating outside on the water, not necessary the most picturesque view, but definitely relaxing. Good attentive service and very reasonable prices and specials.

    My family and I did enjoyed the atmosphere by the water. The food was good however I gave them a three star when it comes to service due to the lack of manpower they had as waitresses. It was pretty busy during the dinner hours but they did not have enough manpower to satisfy all the customers. Their waitress were very nice.

    We made a reservation for 2 thru Opentable on Sun May 20. Upon arriving, we were told they did not take Sunday reservations, but we could be seated in 10 minutes. 25 minutes later we left. The excuse was that they do not know how to "turn off" Opentable for Sundays. Call tech support!!! When we left, I told the hostess to take us off the list that it seems we were never put on! Wow!!!! No apology, just "ok". All I can say is "wow".

    It was okay. Nothing was exceptional. The crab dip used to be so much better. Very little crab, not mixed well. Food was not hot. Like it had been cooked earlier, and assembled to serve. Drinks were not really good either. Just meh.

    I believe the bartender was "over serving" some military young men. They were at the end of the bar and two of the men were bantering back and forth with aggressive gestures and racial slurs. No-one seemed to be aware of this (including the two police officers that were dining just a few feet away). We happened to be next to the bar and found ourselves constantly being interrupted. Also, ribs and oysters were "sold out" at 6:45 on a Saturday night....not the best visit there (and to take our friends there for the first time).

    We have eaten at Lockside Bar I simply asked that my burger be well done...which is was. I am not sure why bacon was randomly added to my burger. It was good but, if I had wanted bacon, I would have ordered it. For only $2.00 more than my Classic Burger, I could have gotten the Hangover Burger, which would have included not only bacon but a fried egg! One other thing: when I set up the reservation through Open Table, I put in a special request that I would like our table to be near the water views. We were seated on the opposite side of the restaurant, next to the parking lot. Perhaps the Special Requests submitted via Open Table do not get forwarded to the restaurant?

    Everything about our visit was horrible. There was plenty of staff but the service was awful. We had to ask for everything and then it took forever to get items that should be a “given” - salt, pepper, ketchup. Drinks took a long time. Our salad and meal came together - ugh- almost 40 minutes after we ordered. The burger was a hammered frozen patty. Not worth eating. They said the kitchen was busy and backed up. No excuse! I will never go back to this restaurant. There is only one positive comment I can say, they did give us our salad for free, Also, no manager was on site?? How does that happen?

    This was a surprise for a strip mall restaurant. The service was great and the food was delicious. My wife and I were celebrating her birthday. Right on the water if you choose to get the tables over on that side of the restaurant.
