The outdoor seating here is plentiful, which makes it a great choice for anyone watching out for covid. The food, however, is fairly average. Our servers were all kind, but bussers left plates on our table forever, after the check was dropped (and until we departed). The place wasn't busy so I'm not sure what that practice is about. Overall, it's fine if you need outdoor seating, but the food wasn't anything to write home about, or get excited over.

The food and service are OK. My check said $68 but when I paid with Apple Pay the charge became $90. I then asked for receipt as I was suspicious. The waiter gave me the receipt and explained the system has a glitch and the extra charge will be refunded 2 days later. Customer should have been informed the overcharge ahead of time instead of said nothing until customer questioned. At least provided the customer with receipt and explained or write on the receipt about the refund. I felt the store is not honest. We will never go back. We were shocked and disbelief at this kind behavior. We also wonder if the system glitch is undercharge instead of overcharge, what action the store will take?

It was OK, but I don’t think I would be a regular. It’s probably better as a lunch spot. Both bathrooms were having problems. They ran out of whip cream for the dessert and ignored telling us so we had the option to change our order.

Went for happy hour. Has good deals. The drinks are yummy. We had the watermelon mule which was a little too sweet but strong. The frozen Bellini wasn’t available sadly. Very healthy food and apps. The chicken tacos were absolutely horrid. Stay away. Tasted like boiled chicken. Overall though everything else was ok.

Had the halibut which was pretty dry. But the burrata tomato appetizer and the artichoke were delicious. Service was attentive and friendly. We sat outside which was noisy but to be expected. Beautiful night all the way around !

Turmeric cauliflower tasted steamed and nothing else. Shisito peppers were barely cooked or seared at all. Potato were pretty disgusting, tasted like baked or boiled with no seasonaing or crispness to them.

This is my go-to place to bring out-of-town visitors because it has good food and atmosphere. The food was fresh and tasty as usual, but service was a bit slow. That worked well for our friends catch-up dinner, but FYI!

Noisy but okay because of where we sat. Expensive for pasta. No followup once food was served. "Manager" tried to whisk away one person's dish without asking whether he was finished and while I was still eating. His attitude was very snarky even when I said "Thank you" upon leaving.

Waiter wasn’t familiar with the menu. My Back of the House bowl was suppose to have tomatillo salsa and cotija cheese but they were missing. I asked the server and he said it wasn’t suppose to have sauce. The poblano pepper was chopped so tiny it was hard to find in the lettuce. Another person ordered the hamburger with bacon aioli. She asked if the burger had bacon and the server couldn’t answer the question. Turns out no bacon but aioli with tiny pieces of bacon. Seems like they put an ingredient in the description but minimal amount in the dish - or none. The third person at the table did like their eggs Benedict. I would not go back to the restaurant. Not great service nor a value when there are so many other places to try near by. Also had to ask 3 people to tie down a wind screen that was blowing in someone’s face.

Second time dining at Union and might be my last. The food was marginal to poor. Preparation and presentation weak. I ordered a cosmopolitan to start and it was flavorless. My friend ordered an espresso martini and she too had to send it back. It all felt rushed and sloppy. Maybe we just hit s bad night?

Food was terrible- undercooked waffles and greasy bacon strips. Even coffee was bad and cream not fresh. Have been here several times and no consistency to quality. After this time won’t give it another try

Unfortunately, there was a wedding reception happening inside on this night, so we had to sit outside. I had been looking forward to enjoying their beautiful interior. The dishes we had were solid. I'd especially recommend the Ahi tuna tacos and the Mac & cheese.

Great food and service, but way too noisy. We sat outside, but even there it was difficult to have a conversation. There is absolutely no need for background music. Even if it was music I liked, I wouldn't want to hear it there. It just makes the overall noise worse.

All of our food was bland and dry. We ordered shrimp tacos, dry and bland. We ordered mahi mahi, dry and bland. We ordered the tuna tower, a bit more flavor but nothing special about it at all. Soooo disappointing!!

I am lactose intolerant, ordered mango sorbet, and am pretty sure I was given mango ice cream instead. The manager said no, it was sorbet, but he would not go check the package. It was rude and we will not be back. We sat outside, and University Ave is quite busy so it was noisy. Got blasted by diesel fumes when an old car sat idling next to us. The food was good, nothing fancy, and the NA drinks were creative and tasty.
