Lobos is an exciting new tapas bar also focused on prime cuts of Spanish and British meat. Meaning wolvesin Spanish, Lobos offers a short, sharp list of vibrantly authentic, traditional tapas with ingredients sourced locally, evolving seasonally and therefore dishes that will change frequently depending on what is available from the market. Lobos is a real carnivore’s paradise, think perfectly roasted Iberico pork, slow cooked shoulders of lamb and lightly charred, rosy pink bone in rib-eye to share, all presented simply and cooked to perfection, allowing the pristine quality of the offering to shine through. Service was friendly and attentive. Good range of tapas but felt that they were a little stingy with ingredients, especially for the price you pay and understandably, it’s tapas so small portions but for example, our black rice paella had only one (cut up in quarters) prawn spread out on the paella. Nice location and cozy restaurant vibe

Cute little place tucked under the railway bridge. Buzzy atmosphere, attentive, friendly service and delicious food. It’s tapas so the portions are tiny but it’s quality over quantity.

This was our first visit to LOBOS and what a fabulous experience it was. It was our daughter’s birthday and not only did they remember, they treated us and her to a welcome drink, a dessert and a birthday treat with all the lovely friendly staff singing along. This absolutely made her day, so thank you! The food and service was wonderful, you must try the black paella with cuttlefish, the Iberico pork and the broken eggs. Although all the food was lovely, so the list is endless. We can’t wait to return

Several items missed from the order even though it was relatively quiet. One dish was not charged for and they did knock 10% off the final bill. A little expensive maybe and the table for two was quite small. The dishes were all good quality just a shame about the missing items.
