   We went here because of the steak dinner offer. Our server was Benjamin. A super amazing, very dedicated and attentive man. I begin with complementing Benjamin because, we’re it not for him, we’d have left earlier than we did. The menu plan is great and the pricing is really great. You get starters, a choice of tea or coffee and dessert. The food taste was quite horrible and blund. The steak was just plain boring… even salt and pepper failed. It was horrible. This was served by some potatoes that were crunchy and again, inedible as they were tasteless and also very hard to even chew. The starter also looked good but wasn’t delicious to eat. Benjamin came to pick our plates and realized we had barely eaten and he wondered if there was anything to help and we were just not interested in anything else they may have had. He did however try to improve our food experience first, by just being an overall nice social person and second, he brought the dessert which was good and then served us tea/coffee and even brought them with rose petals. The presentation was stellar. After that we also got some drinks which were also very beautifully made. The ambience is right the service is right but Shangrila needs to do something about that inedible food please.

   First time attending for afternoon tea at Shangri-La. brought my mom for Mother’s Day. Beautiful set up at the hotel, cute little flower market that I grabbed a bouquet for my mom (pricy but gorgeous). We sat in the Bosk restaurant because no room in the lobby where the live music was. I actuallly preferred this as I liked having a table vs a coffee table. Ambiance was nice, violinist came into the restaurant to play too. However the service was not on par with my expectations. Our server simple left the tower without explaining. Mixed up our tea orders, did not replenish the teapots with hot water and had to be asked multiple times as she forgot things. Overall taste was good, not a classic menu for afternoon tea, but the selection and teas were good. Maybe a littler sweeter than we would have liked. Sadly I would not return for afternoon tea.

   This was our second afternoon tea experience at the shangrila and it was just as lovely as the first. Really happy that they were able to accommodate our dietary restrictions as vegetarians. This time it was for our 8 yr old's bday (and also mother's day so it was nice to celebrate both!), she had the best time the staff made her feel welcome (we were worried they might not be kid friendly but they were very sweet). The ambiance with a live pianist takes the experience to another level. 10/10

   Very overpriced high tea. Did not include the basics like finger sandwiches. Presentation was beautiful but it was very little food and was way too sweet. They did however accommodate dietary restrictions pretty well. If it’s a concern for you definitely call ahead and ask.

   The experience was beautiful but if I were to give one piece of feedback, our whole party thought the shrimp cabbage roll did not belong with the savory assortment. We all thought it lacked flavor and the texture of it made it unpleasant to eat. Every other element was gorgeous and tasty but the cabbage roll lowered our opinion of the meal.

   As always, the afternoon tea was exquisite and service was impeccable. The Sakura menu was thoughtfully put together. And the pianist added to the ambience.

   It was a great experimce. The food and the service were great. Just the 1.5 hour time limit is a bit rush if you want to enjoy your afternoon tea with friends.

   Loved my meal at Shangri-La — amazing flavors and a super cozy vibe. If you're stuck on where to eat, I’d definitely recommend it!

    What a wonderful experience we had for a girls’ weekend trip. The presentation, flavors and space were just lovely. It was a bit noisy, but it is to be expected in a hotel lobby. I highly recommend.
