Living Foods aims to bring the Kauai community healthy food choices, upscale groceries, and a fun, casual café and restaurant environment for Kama’aina & Tourists alike to gather. At Living Foods, Ohana means bringing guests together around high-quality and socially conscious products and ingredients on a daily basis.

Living Foods features a fully-stocked grocery with ready-made to-go items as well as more permanent fixtures for weekly grocery needs. Living Foods café features coffee and fresh baked goods, and is open daily. The all-day restaurant at Living Foods will feature breakfast, lunch, and dinner, highlighting menu items such as Fried Rice, Bibimbap, Aguachile, and Smash Burger and is open from 7am to 10pm.

Whether just enjoying Kauai for a week or more permanently, Living Foods is a community where guests can reliably source quality products to feed themselves and their families. At Living Foods, we are always celebrating the craft of Aloha.

when the menu says house roasted turkey for sandwich, I have never seen a turkey where the dark meat and white blended so seamlessly. Not roasted in house. Otherwise charcuterie was fine, along with two other entrees ordered. service slow and inattentive, had to wave several times to reorder drinks. Wanted to like and come back again, but there are other options where we enjoyed more in the shopping center.

The Living Foods eating experience is NOT to be missed when in Kauai. The food and service rivals if not surpasses other restaurants on the island. The food is local and prepared to perfection. The staff, especially our server, Dante plus the restaurant manager, make their customers feel like part of their Ohana (family). The kale and beet salad is incredible with the kale being massaged to tenderness and complimented with blue cheese, beets and citrus. The Ahi BLT is the best and one of my personal favorites, locally baked bread with a generous slice of ahi, bacon, avocado and lettuce. Thank you Living Foods and Dante for a great evening celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary.

I was disappointed overall. The server didn’t come to our table for at least 10 minutes after being seated. They seemed to be short staffed. The salad I ordered had so many onions on it! The fries were just warm and a bit limp! I wouldn’t return.

Food was excellent, our server was so kind and helpful with what dishes to order and which drinks were great. Highly recommend coming here. We were craving something a little lighter, and this hit the spot. Very relaxed atmosphere.

One of the worst meals I have ever had. A junkyard dog would be more friendly than the server. She did not even say hello just asked what we wanted and never asked how the food was or came by except to give us the check. The steak was very good. The lamb burger was barely eatable. There was nothing fresh at all about the catch of the day fish. The fish tasted like it was about to go bad it was also over cooked perhaps to cover up for not being fresh. Stay away!!!!
