The oysters were marvelous, the lobster roll was fabulous, the country fried steak was superb!
Oh, and those cocktails!
Thanks again for the great elk, wines, and filets!)
I ordered the lamb shank, but was given lamb chops instead. When I pointed out the error, I was told that the kitchen had run out of lamb shanks. Then, when I asked if I could be given the sides that were included with the lamb shanks, I was told that that was not possible.
Food was good
Ambience was good
The service was good. All the wait staff (3 waitresses) served tables/customers. They were attentive. However, I didn’t like that 1 of the waitresses bought me an unwrapped straw with her hands. If you don’t have wrapped straws use a napkin to grab straws. And then she dropped the straw in my glasses of water with her hand. So, I didn’t drink the water.
Great food! The menu has a few interestingly revised classics, some unique recipes and good options for all tastes! My in-laws were impressed!
Visiting Oahu for the first time and looking for good/ non-touristy place. This was excellent!
Great variety on the menu with local fresh ingredients. We orded a lot of different items to split. So many choices to make you want to visit multiple times. Welcoming staff (thanks Joanna!). Will highly recommend to family and friends as a place to go to.
We had reservations for 10am on a Sunday so we were the first to arrive. The lovely lady who greeted and welcomed us asked to see our vaccination cards and we were escorted to our table. I ordered a Bloody Mary and my husband ordered a cup of coffee. The Bloody Mary was the perfect balance of vodka, tomato juice, and hot sauce topped with a lime wedge and green olive. To start with, we shared the smoked octopus from their "small plates" section on their menu. The octopus was so tender and the andouile sausage, cherry tomatoes, artichokes, and olives balanced out the dish quite nicely. We loved it! My husband ordered the Lobster Loco Moco while I had the Crab Cake Benedict. Both dishes were amazing and very tasty. We truly enjoyed our Sunday Brunch at Livestock Tavern and we plan to return.
went for Saturday brunch. nice selection of foods. bartender/server was attentive and friendly. will return!
We had a lovely dinner for our date night. The food and staff were amazing!!!! The only drawback is the area of town it’s located. Chinatown has really gone downhill and the homeless are everywhere.
Delicious beef. Not just at this restaurant, but we were surprised by beef prices in a state the prides itself on beef and presumably produces a lot of it. Nonetheless, it was excellent.
I'm not a fan of stacking the entire meal in one pile ... filet atop green beans atop mashed potatoes, but that seems to be a trend among chefs.
Altogether, I'd definitely go back.
Great food and drinks. We will be back.
Friendly staff, good, hearty food that would go well on a cold winter’s day.
Excellent food - always a pleasure for date night
Service was fantastic, food was even better. I already recommended the scallop risotto to anyone that would listen. Definitely a great date night spot.
Food, drinks, and ambiance was outstanding. Even better was the host and waitstaff. Perfect place to celebrate our anniversary at. Thank you all so much.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. The smoked prime rib is the best prime rib I’ve ever had. I get it every time. The lobster pasta is my second fav from here. But honestly anything on the menu is delicious. Amazing
Easy parking on the street or City Parking. Easy reservations. Service great early, but get a little slow as patrons show up.
Can't be helped in these times. Service is great when you get it.
Nice menu, great wine.
A staple on Oahu.
Neat place with good food. We had the Lobster Pasta and Rack of Lamb. Rack of Lamb was cooked as requested (blue rare) which doesn't happen everywhere. Enjoyed the classic chowder and hush puppies too. Wait staff was attentive but not hovering. Planning to go back another time.
Great food and great service. Love the beef cheek! We also had duck and bacon corn dogs which are as amazing as they sound. The only negative in an otherwise amazing restaurant is that the neighborhood is a little concerning.
Livestock Tavern never fails to disappoint. Essentially the dishes are elevated comfort food. So go here if you’re looking for something comforting yet complex with bold seasonal elements and flavors.
So far we’ve tried:
Maryland Blue Crab cakes
Bourbon and Bone Marrow
Cheddar and Bacon Hush Puppies
Seared Duck Breast
Herb Roasted Chicken
Smoked Prime Rib
Grilled Rack of Lamb
And all have been great. I highly suggest you check LST out if you haven’t already.
Evening with old friends.
The food was amazing. The drinks were great. Our special orders were perfect.
Always enjoy Livestock, prime rib was cooked to perfection! Haley the bartender made an awesome Old Fashion with an interesting ingredient 🙂
The clam chowder was the best that I've had in a long time. The smoked tako was also outstanding.
The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Our waitress made some great recommendations as well.
The ambiance, food and service were great 👍. We had the small plates and thought it was a little pricey. Overall experience was great.
Great food and drinks. Not vegan friendly unless you want fries. I come here mostly for the drinks, ambience and my friends really like the food.
Nice place for drinks and pupus after work, or dinner for a night out.
So excellent! Especially the unique cocktails and we loved the food !
Server was knowledgeable about the menu
They were awesome in accomodating my food restrictions...Food was good and service was awesome!!
Debbie was a wonderful host! Food (Lobster Sandwich) was delish!
Weekend brunch at Livestock is a must.
Great food & great service! Our waitress facilitated a perfect anniversary dinner.
Awesome and delicious food! Would definitely return!
I had a NY steak and requested it medium rare. I got it medium well. It was tasty though so I didn’t return it. I also didn’t want to wait another 20 minutes for a new steak. The place was quiet at 5 pm as I was the only customer. By 6 it filled quickly and became noisier.
GREAT food, excellent service—I highly recommend Livestock Tavern to any & all comers!
Really great downtown vibe, delicious food and a great menu. Love their Old Fashioned cocktail. Prefer the bar area because the acoustics are better, the main area can be noisy. Ive been here many times and the food is consistently great.
The service was good, but the food was about a 3.5 star rating. We had the wedge and beet & frisee salads...both were bland & disappointing. The bacon wrapped pork and prime rib were more of a 4 star rating. Cooked well & flavorful. Loved the feel of the old brick.
