Lovely space, but the food was very disappointing. We ordered two of the full afternoon teas, and every single item on the tray was storebought. We even made a game out of guessing where they were from. The bottom tier was Trader Joe's crackers with dips from Costco, the middle one was store-bought croissants, and the top one was assorted dry cookies (again from Costco, we think). The tea was delicious, but the food fell far flat compared to some of the other photos they've posted.

There is sooo much to say! What a unique and special experience! It’s this whimsical secret “speakeasy style” tucked away tiny tea room. It’s decorated so beautifully with tons of unique items to look at and admire. Seating was cozy and comfortable, ambiance *chefs kiss!* and the music matched the vibe. We listened to opera music. It was perfect for us. Quiet, intimate and private. We were alone the entire reservation so it was just us and our server and it was perfect. You have one server and he stays in the room with you tucked behind a curtain, and there’s a private restroom just for those in the tearoom occupants. Prices are tiered and depicted how long your time in the room was. We did the $40 experience which included savory & sweet snacks, 1 tea pot and a glass of bubbly. Very reasonable prices for the exclusive experience that’s truly magical. The tea was delicious and in beautiful tea pots! I got the Banshee Brew and English breakfast tea perfectly paired with real cream and cute sugar cubes. We also tried another tea, but it wasn’t my favorite and I think that’s just my pallet preference. Snacks came on a three tier display with clotted crème and a lemony honey like spread. Our small bites included Waldorf chicken salad, pimento cheese spread, croissants, crackers, scones, cookies, macaroons, Madeline’s and coconut macaroons. Everything tasted fantastic and was well worth the price for this one of kind experience. We we absolutely be back!

This was such a special experience for my granddaughter (4 years old) and my daughter and law and I. Emilia was enchanged with the Beauty and the Beast teapot (with hot chocolate) and the creamer. Not to mention, there was a treasure box for her to pick a few things to dress up in like a tiara and gloves and jewelry. They made the afternoon tea so special and the tea and food were delightful. Server was also especially accommodating!

We had such a relaxing and delicious experience. This is a small section of a coffee shop, secretly tucked away to give a fabulously intimate experience for the tea drinkers. A traditional tea service is offered with delicious mix of sweet and savory. We loved everything! The owner told us it took off before she could implement all of her plans. But it’s so cozy and cute, you’d never know. It’s a tiny area. We were a party of two and initially a bit overwhelmed by the normal level of conversation with the other table, which was only a party of 4. So I don’t suggest too intimate of conversations. lol We had such a fun time and I’ve done my best to get the word out since then.

I can see why this place is booked until November. If you can get your hands on a reservation, it is a must in Raleigh.

Fantastic experience. Service was excellent. Adorable setup. My kids and I went for a Mother’s Day Tea with grandma too. My only tip is I would not recommend it for small kiddos because the space is very intimate and quiet with just a few small tables. My 5 yr old was not behaving so i’m glad we lucked out with being the only table reservation during our time slot.

Our experience at The Littlest Tearoom was nothing short of magical! My 20 year old daughter and I both loved the tea, the food and the ambiance. Ashley was a gracious and kind hostess. In a world of disconnection, stress and unbelievable politics, finding a gem like this to escape to for an hour and a half is priceless.
