    Steaks were very tasty, but overcooked. Burratta salad was delicious. Sazarac was very nice, worth the try if not your usual cocktail. Lobster bisque was worth the calories. Overall, a delicious adventure.

    First and foremost, all of our food was tasty. Let that be your main takeaway. Four of us ate dinner on a Wednesday evening. (It was “Charlotte Restaurant Week” but unbeknownst to us until we were there. They did appear to be busy but not what I would consider crowded.) Server was attentive immediately and drinks/cocktails came quickly and correctly. Dinners were another story. Of the four dinner, three were wrong. Not sure where the communication broke. Our server seemed to be competent and continued to be attentive. Two members of the management team “helped” right the wrongs but then (even) the checks were incorrect and had to be adjusted. Honestly, it was good food, and courteous concessions were extended and we all know mistakes happen; unfortunate it was our first meal at their restaurant.

    Our 2nd time visit in this location.. event was to celebrate my brother's birthday for brunch.. food and service were amazing. Waitress was very friendly.

    We have visited this location multiple times for brunches, social gatherings, and dinners. Every time has been a wonderful experience. My daughter chose L&P for her bday dinner with all of our family and everyone loved it. Some item s were a little heavy on the salt, and the kale salad was too heavy with the citrus dressing (seemed it wasn't blended?), but overall the meal was delicious from apps to entree to dessert ( chocolate cake- yum!). Our waitress was engaged, friendly, and attentive to our every need- before we even had to ask. We will continue to patronize L&P!

    First, the service was impeccable. Calling me by my name as I came in was memorable. Our server Jess was so attentive, efficient and has a great singing voice (sang happy birthday to my dinner partner). Second, the food. I had the Tour of the Sea; scallops, shrimp, lobster, whipped potatoes and Brussel sprouts. Everything was delicious. Interestingly, the potatoes actually stood out from the proteins somehow. So well done.

    The presentation of the flounder is amazing. However, it was a little dry. The value of the scallops entree was little high for 3 regular size scallops. Overall the dish tasted salty. Good atmosphere but the lake was still and needed to be cleaned out. I was able to enjoy my guest, the food and the place.

    The brunch menu was very good and the waitress was pleasant and informative. There were not a lot of people there, so she could have been more attentive than she was. I asked for my drink without jalapeños. First it didn’t come out with the other drinks, then when it did, it had a lot of residual “heat” like there had been jalapeños in it, but they removed them and sent the drink anyway. We ordered an appetizer of avocado toast and it never came. I had the avocado chicken blt. The chicken was thin and dry, but the bacon was crisp and the avocado was fresh. The fries are delicious. My friend had the eggs Benedict and said it was very good and she liked the hash brown potatoes. My other friend had the make-your-own omelette and it was a lot of food and she enjoyed it. My friend loves Bloody Mary’s at brunch, but they add kimchi or something really spicy to their mix so she couldn’t have one and was really disappointed.
