   Had a pretty good experience overall. I really think there is room for improvement with the quality & amount of food compared to the prices. A $20+ entree of fried shrimp looked closer to the likes of a Red Lobster kid’s meal rather than an upper scale entree for this level of restaurant. $32 for two mediocre crab cakes, SteaknShake fries, and a pile of slaw. I was unimpressed. Better quality would’ve been more impressive and more “worth it”. Desserts were great!

   We couldn’t have been happier than our 1st experience at Lindey’s Lake House. The quality of the food was simply outstanding. We had several dishes including the biscuits. They combination of chives and cheese with a honey butter in a miniature cast iron skillet was delectable. The kids burger was great. The fried oyster appetizer was special. I could go on and on. The service was just as good. We will definitely go back. And we are a family who moved to NE Ohio from San Francisco. We haven’t found many American restaurants that we thought were worth revisiting or even recommending. Well…found!

   Brunch was good but the bacon is extremely sugar-y I couldn’t eat it. I felt like it was a very heavy meal, maybe add options that have a little more vegetables/fruit.

   Hidden gem on the waterfront. Will definitely be back - family wants to try the rest of the menu. Seated ahead of our reservation time, as they weren’t busy. Everyone’s meals were excellent. Server was attentive without hovering.

   We found the service to be excellent. We did not love the area of the restaurant we were placed in. It felt very right amongst other guests despite there being several open tables throughout restaurant. Felt like we were bumping into others. Food and drinks were great!

   This was our second visit to Lindey’s Lake House. We were looking forward to dinner because of how good the ribs and battered fish were last time. Disappointment came when we looked at the menu to see that the ribs were no longer an option. As our appetizer we decided to try the crab & Parmesan dip again. It said it came with tortillas, but came with large chips. When we asked about the tortillas (as the menu stated) we were told “that is always what it comes with”, referring to the chips. At least it had some crab taste to it versus last time. We opted to go with the battered fish dinner and the battered fish sandwich as our entrees. The fish on both dinners was soggy. I was also somewhat confused how 3 fishstick sized pieces of fish, fries and coleslaw cost $22. The only saving grace of the dinners was that the fries were hot. We were hoping for better service than we received last time, but it didn’t happen. Our server was pleasant, but seemed to disappear a lot. She more present when we were finished with our dinners. We never received appetizer plates for the dip and our menus sat with us during the entire visit (even though we didn’t need them). Lastly, it was not appreciated to pay $15 a piece for Maker’s Mark on the rocks. It’s absurd to pay $30 for 2 drinks. We more than paid for the entire bottle of liquor. Our bill was $104 and what we received was definitely not worth that amount.

    The food was mediocre. They deep fry their breakfast potatoes and don't season them at all. The cinnamon rolls were the only thing I would come back for. Everything else you could have ordered at a restaurant in the suburbs. The ambiance was nice, although they sat us at a table behind the bar without a view while the restaurant was pretty empty the entire time we were there. The server disappeared for long periods of time. Again, the restaurant was extremely slow while we were there. We went for Sunday brunch at 11 and I thought it would be busier. I don't think I would bother coming back. There are so many more places in Cleveland that leave an impression.

    I was very disappointing in this restaurant. The service from our first waitress was poor. She did not introduce herself, she walked past our table to serve others most of the time, and it too her a while to bring our items. To be serviced, we had to ask several other people to help us. The manager eventually can to the table, apologized, gave us a new server, and discounted our appetizers. The second server was amazing and very attentive. The food was average at best. The drinks were very good. Overall, I wouldn’t go back nor would I recommend it.

    Date night is every Friday for me and my fiancé!! We absolutely loved the vibes and the food. The Nashville chicken sandwich was phenomenal and my fiancé loved her shrimp!! Our waitress was awesome!! My cran-Apple Mule was perfect but what made this special was the in house key lime pie 🔥🔥🔥🔥Soooo good. Great place

    The restaurant was inadequately staffed in the kitchen and service staff which led to some food items prepared with limited attention to detail and very slow service. Our poor waitress was the only one present for the entire restaurant. There were birds flying in the dining room trapped when the bay doors were lowered a few weeks ago. It was simply not a good experience. This restaurant should not have opened this week.

    My mom and I went to enjoy a nice meal before we went to a play and unfortunately they were out of many things. They weren’t able to serve one of their special drinks due to not having ingredients and then after we ordered our entrée our server (who was super helpful and attentive) had to come back and tell us they were out of that also (which was the reason we decided to go to lindys in the first place). I understand running low or out of things but we were there at 5:15 and it was early in the night. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to go elsewhere so we had to order other things off the menu that weren’t the best we’ve ever had. I’ll give them another chance but we were extremely disappointed with our visit and didn’t quite have the experience we would have liked to have.

    Outstanding atmosphere and excellent food. We enjoyed the Sunday brunch by the fire place. The cinnamon rolls are a nice appetizer and when combined with the egg and shrimp dishes made for a scrumptious meal.
