Excellent service! Food and wine were delicious.
Food was fantastic & service was great!!
My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Limoncello! The cocktails and wine were fantastic (Limoncello Blush), and the food was superb! The octopus appetizer and the branzino entree were especially delicious. The server was attentive, friendly, and efficient. We had a great seat by the window. We will be back!
Great food. Service was slow and inattentive.
Celebrated my wife’s Birthday at Lemoncello, we were greeted at the door and seated immediately, seated at a very comfortable table under the lemon tree. Our waitress was superb, we had time to study the wine list, she took time to answer questions that we had about the menu. Food was outstanding, well prepared and beautifully presented. Our evening was highlted by a complementary Birthday dessert with a very effective sparkler. Our evening was superb.
Thank you Lemoncello!
Spaghetti with clams done perfectly. Asked for more garlic and the kitchen relied. Purses with Gorgonzola and pears in a cream sauce was wonderful.
Always a fun local place for dinner. Like many restaurants a little bit tight on employees. The service a bit slow but well understood in this day and age of employee shortage.
Great food and service
We went here for our anniversary dinner and I will say we will not be returning. We had a server come to our table about 5-10 mins after we sat down. Then after that server came another one showed up and didn’t mention if they were our new server or what was happening. I should mention this was a Thursday night and it wasn’t that crowded. Our drinks took forever to get and they were just ok. After the “new” server took our order it wasn’t until about 20 mins later that she came back to ask what we ordered again. We didn’t get our salad until about 45-50 mins into our dinner. The food was just ok. Then I felt like they barely checked back with us. When we got the check it took forever for them to come get it so at that point we walked it up to the bar and paid. The experience was terrible to say the least and on our anniversary. I would have at least comped our drinks or have given a free dessert at that point. Nope! I have worked in this industry before so it was sad to see this. We won’t be back.
We live In NJ, but every time we are in St Michaels, MD we make it a point to eat at Limoncello. This trip we were in town four days and ate here two of them! Great Food!
Friendly, conscientious staff. Sat in the middle of the room near the door. Would have preferred corner of along a wall and request such with our next reservation as this was our first experience at the restaurant.
Outstanding food and wait staff service. We come here every time in St Michael’s. This time though we had dinner after 8 on Sunday evening when it was quiet but the bartender took 30 minutes to make our cocktail, and there were no cocktail glasses. Our wait person Amy was very apologetic and made up for it with great service.
Food was very good, service was also very good. Greeting at the hostess stand by the bartender, and service there, not so much. It’s a shame because that is the first impression you get of the restaurant, and Limoncello deserves better. As did we.
Staff were gracious to adjust our reservation, but forgot about the outdoor request. No masks on any staff whatsoever. Waitress forgot to put in our appetizer order and when we brought it up said nothing. Pastas were fair.
Excellent service and the food is top notch- where is their Michelin star?
This is probably the go to Italian restuarant in Saint Michaels. Nice decor with sufficient spacing between tables. There ia a very large selection of options on the menu. Prices are not inordinate. My wife's pasta with assorted seafood was excellent & my veal scaloppini with garlic mashed potatoes & asparagus was very good. Portions are quite large. Service was very good. Reservations are recommended as several walk-ins were turned away as the restaurant was very busy (and they were probably unable to seat other tables due to understaffing).
Nice atmosphere. Decent service and very good food. Relatively small portions for the prices being charged. Filet had to be sent back for more cooking which took about 10 minutes. Overall, a good experience but not particularly good value.
Food seems to have gone down in flavor. Used to be fantastic and flavorful, todays meal was tasteless.
Food is always delicious. The service is good, but not very personable. When our table was served water by our waiter, I said Hello and got zero response. A small thing, but set the tone for service. Our service was good but not great. I will still go back.
we had a nice dinner on a Thursday night and enjoyed the food and nice service.
This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. They have a nice wine selection and the food was delicious. I had the bronzino and my husband had the halibut and both were excellent. The bronzino usually has a lot bones and I didn't find one in my fish. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent friendly service. Quiet enough for easy conversation. One of the best restaurants in town.
It would have been better but when I arrived the opening hours had been shortened so I had a booking but no meal. Perhaps open table needs check the early closure time of Nine pm on a Monday thanks. Just one of those things.
Nice italian restaurant in St. Michaels. Our waitress was delightful but the service was a little slow for ordering entrees only. My husband and I ordered Paccheri allo Scoglio and it was delicious except for a few pieces of mussel shells that I bit into. I would recommend the restaurant if you are going to St. Michaels.
Great dining options with menus to suit with great quality food at sensible prices. Staff are always friendly. The place to go if want an alternative to sea food. Even then the Cello still delivers. See you there.
The end of a perfect day in St Michael’s
Girls lunch, sat in the back patio area. We all ordered food to share, everything was delicious. Wait staff was excellent. I would go back again.
Great ambiance, food and service. We highly recommend it.
Negronis spectacular! Shrimp gondola appetizer outstanding…that and a Caesar salad perfetto for a not too heavy meal. And don’t forget the limoncello 🍸!
Fantastic food and service! Loved it. We are regulars and this place is consistently fabulous.
Excellent Italian dining. Great Orangcello martini!
A perfect location! Perfect meal and great service! We will return!
Food was good but service was slow. It took 45 minutes to get our appetizer and 1.5 hours to get our entree. To be clear this was on a Monday evening, not a Friday or Saturday. We were celebrating a birthday and there was no acknowledgement of it.
Would go back again for the food but would order as soon as I sat down. We weren’t in a rush but it was a long time to wait for food (pizza and pasta)
The best food in St. Michael’s Md. and the world!!! Authentic Italian cuisine and atmosphere. We were pleased with the variety offered on the menu. Our server was professional and personable. We would recommend Limoncello to anyone visiting the DelMarVa area. Thank you to all the staff at Limoncello for a memorable dining experience. We cannot wait until the next time we are in the area to enjoy this place.
Service was slow. Like most restaurants, could use more servers and probably more kitchen help.
The food was good however the service was lacking. Everyone around us got a bread basket and it was not even offered to us. I asked for lemons for my water and drank a full glass before I had to remind the waitress for the lemons. The hostess was extremely rude to customers. A couple asked if they could sit inside instead of what and she sarcastically said they were full. The gentleman asked if she could check and she just walked away from them. The woman sat down and waited and when the hostess came back she just grabbed the menu and walked back in to the inside part, the poor woman didn’t know what to do. It was not very nice to witness. When we walked in the same hostess was not friendly and as we started talking the phone rang and she just answered it and didn’t say anything to us.
Always our first evening's meal when in St. Michaels. Food is like you are in Italy, very good wine list and service is always the best.
Food was a bit inconsistent and not particularly flavorful. Our server was very accomodating.
Wait staff and food all very good. It was great to be back and we look forward to our next visit
