I guess we don’t get what the fuss was all about. The food was average - nothing to get excited about. The eggplant app was over cooked, the bread that came with the cheese plate had garlic and herbs, but there was a jam accompaniment- there should have been plain bread served with it. The cod in the fritto misto was unbelievably salty. The carpaccios - both ahi and fillet didn’t quite hit the mark. The ahi, other than the hot sauce, was flavorless and the filet mignon needed salt, pepper and olive oil. Marginal at best.
Our waitress got frustrated with herself because she kept bringing us the wrong orders and the wrong check and the wrong food and would slam things down on the table multiple times
Some of the food items were excellent, a couple of the dishes were average. It was extremely packed for a Monday evening and as is everybody, was dealing with a slight staff shortage. Experience was good, but it was expensive so value for the money may not have been up to par.
We had a wonderful experience! Came for a very early dinner for my sister's birthday and our server was lovely! The food was amazing and the ambiance is really fantastic!
We had a great time and our server was super attentive and friendly.
All of the food was delicious. The GM is always so friendly. Ambiance was relaxing and beautiful, wonderful time!!
Had reservations and was seated promptly inside high top by bar. Drink orders arrived quickly and were excellent. Calamari and Cod bits in combo appetizers were a disappointment. Main entrees we all prepared well and delicious. Being next to bar area, we heard the bartenders annoying shaker the entire dinner.
Always an enjoyable evening at Limoncello. Both the pasta and veal entrees were delicious. As always, the service was outstanding and friendly.
This was my first time at Limoncello. The food was amazing and the staff were great! I will definitely be back!
Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable and laugh. Food was delicious and drinks were yummy as well.
The food wasn’t as good as expected, especially for the price.
Amazing!! The service was spectacular
Server and food was amazing. Desserts could be improved, a bit on the sweet side.
Krista was such an attentive and pleasant waitress. The whole team was very nice in catering to my requests for my anniversary.
Love Limoncello! Never disappointed. Food is yummy, great wine list, excellent service.
We had a very nice experience here, however I feel I must share the annoyance that almost forced us to cancel going. From the moment we made the Open Table reservation until 40 minutes before we got there, I was hounded with emails, texts and phone calls to confirm or verify the reservation, or report en route when we would be there. It was incessant. It was bad enough we had to give a credit card to hold the reservation and be subjected to a $25 no-show charge, but we then received no less than 6 communications after that. It was ridiculous. I’ve never experienced this from an Open Table restaurant before and it will make me think twice about doing it again…certainly not at Limoncello.
Aside from that, the service and food were very nice. We had a great meal.
Food and ambiance never disappoints
absolutely outstanding. The service was spectacular, food was amazing. Looking forward to returning!
Great food, awesome service, and great ambiance.
Wait staff was attentive. Food was excellent. I did not like my drink but that’s not anyone’s fault. The price is a bit higher than I think it should be, but my meal was soo tasty, I happily paid. Will definitely be back!
Our first time here and definitely not our last. Outstanding food and service. Worth the 50 minute drive
Wonderful experience. Great food and service.
It was really nice experience. They prepared a birthday candle for my girlfriend as well.
This was my first visit and I will certainly be back! The restaurant decor and the atmosphere is lovely - just elegant enough without feeling stuffy. The staff was friendly and attentive. The menu offered a great variety in each category and everything was nicely presented as well as delicious!
Food was delicious. Service was great. Had a lovely 65th anniversary dinner
Everything was wonderful and the food was amazing
Staff was pleasant, service was good, food was good. My experience wasn’t the best because I already knew what I wanted prior to arriving but they ran out of the Lobster di fravalo but the table next to us ALLLLL had it and I was disappointed. Nevertheless the overall experience is good.
Limoncello's outdoor patio is one of the best in Baltimore for a quiet/private meal. The food is very good, especially the entrees. We had the lobster ravioli and the gnocchi. The wine list is mostly Italian wines and excellent.
Limoncello was amazing. The cocktails are perfection and the dessert was to die for. Anything on the menu with limoncello in it is going to be amazing just trust me. Our server Jose was so sweet and attentive. I had A Genovese pasta and it was so tasty. I very much plan to go back and enjoy more cocktails and pasta at the ample bar seating.
The food was scrumptious, seating was not what I expected. The server was not too attendative.
Everything from the host to the food to the atmosphere was top notch. I can't wait to come back again. Thank you.
Lobster ravioli in saffron cream sauce was delicious… as was the lemoncello martini.
Parking was a bit of a challenge….server was attentive without being intrusive.
Linguine with clams was the Sicilian version… lots of olive oil.. very tasty.
What a wonderful restaurant! From the moment you walked in it was gorgeous. The decor is absolutely beautiful! The food was delicious! Our server Josh was very helpful and such a delight. Would definitely visit again!
We really enjoyed sitting on the patio, and both food and service were great!
Limoncello doesn't disappoint. Always have a fabulous meal! Thanks!
The ambiance is magnificent. The service was great. The presentation was phenomenal. The taste of the food was...nonexistent. Everyone had salt and pepper at their table. There is so much potential but the food was lack luster.
The food was absolutely fantastic and the service quite professional. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our group of 5 was in the outdoor seating area, which was really quite lovely - clean, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. Unfortunately there was road construction that was very loud, though obviously not the fault of the restaurant! It was a little pricey - lunch for 5 with appetizers, meals, and desserts was $230ish but the food was amazing and we knew what to expect, so that is just information and not a complaint at all. Our experience was wonderful - I recommend you try Limoncello!
I have been to this restaurant probably about 8 times now, and each time I would give it a five star rating across-the-board! I think this is one of Baltimore’s best restaurants on every level, and everyone we have ever gone with has always felt the same way.
Nice place for a special occasion! Would go back again and again
This was a visit for my wife’s birthday. The service was a little slow but the food was definitely worth the wait!!
