Great view!
Excellent views, food and service! Such a lovely brunch!
The balcony is amazing at sunset.
Safe, outdoor heaters, cozy, beautiful views, phenomenal service, delissh cocktails & food. Perfect for any occasions.
You must request the patio dining if you want to enjoy the full ambience.
The food is OK, nothing special.
The service was excellent.
Brunch was pricey but good food. Outdoor seating only right now.
Gerardo is very nice and attentive! Him and the view were the best parts of our brunch!
Thank you to the staff and kitchen for working during this time and doing a wonderful job.
We arrived for dinner with my kids.
The waiter was rushed and stressed. They were out of the dinner item I ordered. My 9 year old got his burger last and half hour late. He keep saying “ dad, we are not coming back here anymore”. What else can I say. It was not fun.
Thought we would be seated on balcony with view. Instead seated in a plastic tent in parking lot. Uncomfortable chairs. Served coffee in a to-go cup. Had to ask music to be turned down. Paper napkins. Food at best was mediocre. Ordered french toast with "fruity" syrup. Had about one slice of apple cut into tiny pieces. Daughter ordered eggs. Cost was $64. Heat lamp worked after trying two others. Not worth it at all. Server however did his best and was very kind.
Italy in my backyard! It was such a pleasure to outdoor dine in style. The Venice in the Hills theme was lovely. The food and service fantastic. We felt so safe and comfortable outside. Hard to choose from the menu so we tried a little of everything. Great cocktails and wine pairing suggestions form the attentive staff. Get out there and try it, You won’t be disappointed !!!
Graduation
Staff was very accommodating and the ribeye was melt in your mouth delicious especially with champagne oh and that view, what a great view!
For the price they charge, the food could be better
Steak was extremely undercooked for my wifes well done, and still mooing for my medium. Took over an hour to get our entrees and poor waiters had to walk back and forth from hotel to the tent, so that hurt to watch.
terrible. parking lot service, overpriced, cold, table was too low...I've had picnics with more thought in them.
Great place and very accommodating
Food was great, service was decent, but sitting in the terrace I was hoping to get more of the view, the table placement was horrible and blocked the entire view
Given current conditions, the seating was acceptable, blankets were available upon request to help keep, a nice touch. Menu was ok. Execution of the menu was below par. Bar was unable to make a basic cocktail, even with direction. Yes, there is a pandemic a-foot; yes, people were spread about the grounds, yes, additional efforts had to be made... that said, this is not a small mom & pop restaurant. There were not that many people to serve and the menu was simple. Disappointing even with low expectations. Perhaps they had a bad night, staffing issues, kitchen issues, etc... I imagine things will change once normalcy returns. I'll give them another try at that point, but it will be with cocktails and apps to see if there is improvement.
Beautiful views. Delicious food. Great service. And the food was beautifully. Perfect for Valentine’s brunch!
The service was was fantastic - the food was terrible and very overpriced. Not what one expects from a Fairmont at all.
Excellent views and service 😀
Such a wonderful brunch with great service
Limewood is great, great views, great food. What else is there to say?
Absolutely would not go back even if I was paid. Never got my food. Had to get up more than once to receive service and a drink. Was completely ignored by staff and they didn’t have enough heaters for everyone. Just ridiculous to be a “high end” restaurant and service to be so poor. Not to mention Covid and it’s drag it’s took on us all, but to finally go for dinner almost normally and to be treated to poorly really disappointed me.
great work, felt safe. would like to have sat furthur from the door though
An amazing evening. Dining on the patio was nice, warm and inviting. The service was excellent and the food and wine were incredible. One of the best COVID dining experiences I have had. Thank you Limewood.
We were treated like VIPs and the ambiance was lovely with a view of bridges or fire pits and neighboring lights against a backdrop of Julia Morgan’s stunning architecture. But the food was second rate. Seafood must be shelled, deboned or otherwise prepared by guests to save the host the expense, the choices are limited and most dishes spoiled by pears.
Really nice patio setting with heat lamps, a killer view, and distanced dining. Lovely bar area set up in the parking lot, also nicely distanced. We want to hang out there in late December. The price range was hilarious, from $25.00 entree to $150.00 entree and items in between. Got the $25.00 smash burger and it was delicious. My guest reported the half a fried chicken was also delicious. We shared an appetizer; brussels sprouts with pomegranate seeds, nice pairing of two tasty items.
Great time with friends!!
A nice dinner and ambience given the necessity to accommodate to Covid 19 restrictions.
Beautiful food and service - beautiful views of the San Francisco skyline - amazing
I had an outside reservation for 2 (the only option in Alameda County at that time due to the pandemic) for Thanksgiving Day. I assumed it would be on the patio off of Limewood, instead we were seated in a tent in the parking lot. The service was horrible as the limited number of servers had to walk to the kitchen restaurant from the parking lot for all drinks, food, to run credit cards, etc. This presented a awful delay in being greeted by a server, having someone take our drink order, etc. It sucks to have to request a refill on water when you’re paying $200 for a meal. Our table was on the edge of the tent so it was in the direct sun and under an outdoor heater, so it was much too hot. The honey fried chicken with biscuit and greens were all outstanding. The extremely limited dessert options—3 in total—were very sad for Thanksgiving Day. I selected the chocolate buttermilk pie and it didn’t seem to be chocolate in look or taste. It had a drizzling of buttermilk over the top of it and overall it was an incredibly bland and disappointing dessert for $12. The MosCANmule was excellent but it should have been for $18 for 6 oz.
So they don’t have indoor dining right now and then outside was FREEZING and also they have cocktails in cans only? Which wasn’t really clarified before he poured mine out of a can lol and their menu sucks it doesn’t have anything that is on Yelp/old menu and the steak and chicken were both dismal
A very pleasant outdoor dining experience! Tables are well spaced out. I wish we could have sat closer to the music which was on lower outdoor area but the view from the patio was amazing! Thank you to all the staff for keeping this gem open during these difficult times!
We had an outdoor patio seating due to COVID-19. The view was fabulous with overlooking the bay and golden gate bridge under splendid sunshine. Foods were nice and fresh, and the service obviously was top-notch.
31 year wedding anniversary
amazing outside fire pits
We got lucky with a beautiful evening and sunset to enjoy with our meal. Best Old Fashioned we’ve tasted in a long time!
Outdoor dining works well here. We had an early (4 p.m., still sun in the sky) on the deck,
warmed by a productive patio heater. Very few fellow diners, even by 6 p.m. when we departed. Tasty rockfish wrap, very big plate of fried chicken, a martini and a glass of champagne. well distanced from the other diners, plenty of space for all. A very nice afternoon.
Thank you for a lovely evening. We felt very safe and enjoyed some normalcy during this scary time.
