   The views from the patio are beautiful. The food was great. Pleasantly surprised with the fried chicken. Moist and flavorful but a large portion. Also had oyster and charcuterie board with drinks very easy going atmosphere and staff was pleasant and helpful with menu questions. Highly recommend for romantic date, birthday celebration, or just a easy relaxed dinner.

   Service was horrible and food was mediocre. Definitely not worth the cost. we would not go there again.

   Really expensive and very disappointing. We came here for a special occasion, a party of four. We spent over three hours and not because we were lingering because of delays wait times and issues. At every step, we were waiting to order, to get our food to get our check… Every step. The worst thing and this was bad is the way our entrées came out. First we received one Bronzino. When the waiter realized no one else had their food. He took that back leaving the side of brussels sprouts to get cold. He eventually came back, but this time only with three entrées. I waited another 15 minutes for mine. The rest of the table was 50% done with their meal when mine showed up. The waiter comped our desserts but by this time it was so frustrating. He offered to validate parking and when we left it didn’t work. Our bill was $365. That’s kind of steep and it was a special occasion that ended up frustrating not special. I did reach out first to management and found that not particularly satisfying. This is all such a drag because it’s a gorgeous restaurant and should be perfect for special occasions. I hope they get it together.

   Gorgeous view! Sadly, the menu is really overpriced. The pecan kale salad was amazing. The burger was great - even though it’s two thin (double) patty and only will be cooked medium Well it was juicy and not dry. We had asked for a medium rare and that’s not possible, but we’re happy with it and the fries, salad portions were gpod. Looking around everybody else ordered burgers too. I guess that seemed to be the only Affordable entrée. Would love to see them offer a steak option under $50. The drinks were very interesting . The view is amazing and we went for sunset. The sun is shining right into your eyes, so not comfortable. They have umbrellas, but they don’t tip so they don’t work to block the sun. I’m not sure we would go back …

   The service was excellent! The food was very good. Prices seemed a little high but expected in this inflationary environment.

   Front of House was a bit chaotic; but our server was excellent. Went with surf and turf (sliders are awesome; and scallops cooked perfectly) - would come back just for the sliders and cocktails

   Really just an awful experience. My daughter is going to Berkeley and this seemed like a good hotel with a nice restaurant but there’s a bad smell throughout the entire place. The food is average and the server was not knowledgeable at all. They have items marked gluten free but the server had no idea what that even meant. The food was overpriced and the server never checked on us at all. We will be in Berkeley a lot over the next four years and definitely won’t be back to this restaurant or the hotel.

    Ya know, I've been coming here for years, and have cherished this place, for the view primarily. The food second. The view will always be stellar, but the current management now charges $10 an hour for parking beyond 2 hours? Really? Is the message, "we want you to stay for dinner and wine and dessert and spend more money while you sit here.." or, eat, get out quickly, and don't get dinged for parking after you just spent $300? It's obnoxious. Also, don't come on a Sunday. They are always out of everything good. We ordered dinner and a bottle of wine, and 4 out of 5 things weren't in stock. Got it. Arrive, sit down, be disappointed. Have a good meal. Leave, then be disappointed out the other side too, because of parking. Thank God for the view and the warm night air. Going to consider whether this is worth it going forward.
