Excellent Mediterranean food in a beautiful setting. It honestly doesn’t feel like you’re in DC, more like sitting at a marina-side restaurant in CA. Our server was outstanding, extremely attentive and friendly. Beyond the amazing seafood, we would go back for the craft cocktails and olive oil alone. Limani also has a vibrant salsa dancing scene on the top level on Monday nights, which added a hip, young vibe to the place.

The food was pretty good. Our servers were excellent. However, the air conditioner unit kept dripping on my daughter's head. I told the hostess and the server who said that they would get the manager and the manager never came to the table or tried to rectify the situation. After about 4 times id this happening we decided to move the table over ourselves. To try to stop it from happening.

Overall the Limani was pretty good, the food was pretty good and the value was adequate. However, they were grossly understaffed which made the service horrible. If you go, its best to sit on the 2nd Floor, the buffet was more expansive and we didnt find this out until we were almost done. The server didnt tell us , she basically didnt say much to us; however she brought the check very quick!

Unfortunately, the service provided had a profound effect on my overall experience. Initially I had a reservation for 5 people and when I received the phone call confirmation it had changed ton4. That changed again and I called the morning of to change back to 5, I was immediately told there was nothing available. While I understand there wasn’t a lot of notice, some type of compromise would have been appreciated. I explained my situation and was told it was likely it would not be ready at 12 and we may have to wait. I arrived at 12:15 and was told I was too late and no longer had a reservation. I then explained the conversation I just at 11am and was asked to wait. Fortunately, we did not have to wait long for a table. Our original server (female) was kind and courteous but the man helping her was off putting, condescending and overall not interested in being there. He ruined what was otherwise a very lovely afternoon.

We went for brunch, and the brunch menu for the buffet style is so good. I highly recommend it. Definitely loved all the different variety of foods.

Overall, I enjoyed brunch at Limani DC. The room we dined in was quite loud which caused everyone in there to shout across the tables. The room was enclosed so the voices carried other than that everything was great. The food selections were great, and the quality was top tier.

Disappointing Experience at Limani DC Despite a Strong Start - I would give 2.5 if I could. Limani at The Wharf has a beautiful location and a Mediterranean menu that initially shows promise. The starters were delicious, and the scallops were exceptional — an absolute must-order. Crab cake could use more lump crab. Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there. One of my biggest pet peeves when dining out: being seated at a tiny, impractical table. My husband and I are both very tall, and we were placed at a table barely large enough to hold water glasses and plates. When we asked about switching, the host told us the restaurant was full. Yet, not 20 minutes later, another couple was seated at a much more reasonable table. There seemed to be a pattern in who was getting the “grown-up” tables — and who wasn’t. Over an hour later, the restaurant was still only about 35% full. Completely unnecessary and honestly insulting. Hummus? Don’t do it to yourself- those are not chickpeas. It taste like potatoes mash. B The lamb chops? Skip them. No seasoning, no flavor — a major letdown. The drinks were fine, and the views are lovely, but neither make up for the lack of hospitality or comfort. To top it off, it was my husband's birthday, and they couldn’t even comfortably fit the dessert on our tiny table. We were left shuffling plates around just to make room for a basic slice of cake. Will I be back? No. This felt like a restaurant more focused on aesthetics than the actual dining experience. Oh Brussel sprouts delicious!!! Very pricey for what we had - and we don’t mind spending when it’s delicious. 20% gratuity added for 2 people. Not coming back.

Fantastic brunch.. Fantastic food.. My waitress was very nice.. I had such a good time that I paid the bill for the table next to me as well. Ill definitely be back !!
