   Lilo is nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment you walk in, you’re struck by its stunning design—sophisticated, warm, and thoughtfully curated. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, creating an effortlessly elegant atmosphere. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was beautifully executed and bursting with flavor. As someone who’s dined at numerous Michelin-starred restaurants, I can confidently say Lilo is on that level. It’s only a matter of time before it earns its star. This is the kind of place that will be nearly impossible to get into very soon—so go now, while you still can. You won’t regret it.

   I wrote a review for Lilo What do you think? LILO is more than just the latest in San Diego’s fine dining its is an extraordinary dining experience. With Chef Eric Bost and restauranteur John Resnick at the helm, each of the 12 courses is an explosion of flavors and surprises, crafted and presented with precision and creativity. The entire experience is elevated by the restaurants unique design. From the patio to the circular dining area which surrounds the chef’s and prep stations the space and staff create a circular or wave like feeling of enthusiasm. At the entrance we were warmly welcomed by the charming and attentive maitre’d, Aubrey, who set the tone for the evening. We began on the zen like patio with an anticipatory view into the main dining room. Kind wait staff presented small, delicious bites of little neck clams, big eye tuna paired with beef tartare, A caviar tartelette and a scrumptious role of Iberico ham plus the most refreshing tomato-based drink I’ve ever tasted. After our little bites we were seated inside overlooking the chefs and work stations-What followed was a parade of 9 more unique and unforgettable courses, each more beautiful and delicious than the last. I can’t decide if it was the scallop roasted in brown butter and bone marrow broth or the turbot with Koji, sabayon, and get this.. coffee oil that blew my mind. But then they doubled down with an ice cream topped with caviar and house pressed almond oil. The surprises of delight continued, and the engaging staff made the evening even more memorable. I won’t spoil the rest because you’ll want to make a reservation soon but one last note about the blackened banana desert, it may just make you write rhapsodic about LiLo just like me.    Wonderful! Best restaurant experience in San Diego by a wide margin. Although only open for a few weeks, food, service, and timing were spot on. The pre- and post- dining garden space is absolutely brilliant. The food was very well prepared . Most dishes had at least one element that took a big risk on flavor combinations and, at least for us, worked surprisingly well. I would highly recommend the "Goldilocks Pairing" which is a mix of alcohol and non-alcohol beverages. The mocktails were imaginative and paired well with the food.

   A Culinary Experience to Remember From the moment we walked into LILO, we knew we were in for something special. The intimate chef’s counter setting created a unique and personal dining experience that made our anniversary celebration unforgettable. Every course of the tasting menu was thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The blend of California ingredients with Japanese and French influences was executed flawlessly. The service was exceptional—warm, knowledgeable, and perfectly paced. You can feel the passion and precision in every detail, from the curated drink pairings to the final sweet bite. Dining at LILO isn’t just a meal, it’s a journey—and one we’ll remember for years to come. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a world-class dining experience in an elegant, intimate setting.

    Best restaurant in San Diego hands down. I always leave Addison feeling like it wasn’t worth it. Lilo felt worth every dollar. It has a cool vibe and deliciously creative food. I liked everything from the vinyl records playing to the sexy bathroom. The glass choices are awesome and the pairings fit perfectly with the food. Well done. So glad I don’t have to outside of San Diego to experience that kind of meal. It’s in my backyard. Can’t wait to return.
