Lilikoi Bar and Grill
We waited a very long time to get our food!
Had to wait 30 minutes for a reserved table. Service was good. Kinda slow
Food was ok. Service was bad
THEY DO NOT HONOR OPEN TABLE RESERVATIONS. The reason this restaurant is the ONLY one with available timeslots on the Island is becasue they DO NOT CHECK OR USE Open Table for their diners. You will make a reservation on Open Table and when you arrive you will be added to the BOTTOM of the current wait list. Check the other reviews for this restaurant and there is a common theme. They do this to ALL Open Table reservations. When asked why we were being added to the wait list and not seated, the hostess said because there are other people ahead of you. I asked how many people had reservations at 7 pm? She shrugged and put us at the bottom of the list. We asked to speak to the manager and told him we had reservations and he asked "Uh, with Open Table?" We said yes he said hum let me see what we can do. There was another party that this also happened to behind us. They drove 30 mins to get here thinking they had a reservation. Only becasue we requested to speak to the manager were we and the other party seated when the next available tables came open. Otherwise we would have waited an hour or more. So just know you will be treated as a walkin even if you book a reservation. FOOD- the salt & pepper calamari was nice, our son said his burger was good, my husband's Moco Loco was VERY overcooked and I could not cut through the puff pastry on my chicken mushroom pastry entree. This may be the only location available for miles and miles so do what you have to do to dine there.
They didn’t keep reservations…. Even though we had the…. Everyone who walked up before us - even though we had reservations- was in-line to be seated before us…. Went around the corner to the Thai restaurant and and a very good mean
We went here for our anniversary. The service was excellent as was the food, drinks, and desserts. We also ordered a cup of their seafood chowder, which was excellent. But if you’re looking for an upscale restaurant, this isn’t it, it’s extremely casual. Other than that, we were pleased with our experience.
Bad service, even when you have a reservation, still need to wait a long time
The service and staff were friendly and no complaints there at all. The drinks were fine too.
But the food wasn’t great. The truffle fries were fine, but very light on truffle flavor. Poke was okay, pork sliders were okay, but the chicken satay was really tasteless and the sauce was pretty poor.
So all in all, it was fine in a pinch, but if you want a delicious meal, there are a lot of other options to go with.
Food was good. Very crowded, packed, and noisy. Mall environment. Good service...well, except for slow bar orders.
Great food, friendly service!!!
We ate at Lilikoi one other time and it was good. This time although Open table accepted a 9pm reservation, when we arrived the restaurant informed us they were already closed. :-(
Skimpy on food, overpriced for what you get, drinks were weak.
Very nice evening, our server was very nice and attentive. It was pretty crowded so the noise level was about what you would expect from a bar and grill. Service was good, a little slow because it was a full house. Food was good, I had a $16 poke bowl. Definitely would go again!
We came here in out first night on the island. We were seated quickly. Everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks. There was also a beautiful view of the ocean.
Great vibe, food, and location. The only improvement would be a little more training with the wait staff on bringing enough silverware, processing the charge quickly, etc. but just a minor thing really.
Fun environment, kid friendly and nice staff!
Do not waste your time
We had a dinner reservation and when we got there there were people everywhere and the host said there were eight tables with reservations at the same time and the wait time was 45 minutes. We didn’t stay.
Made ourreservation online and got right in both times we went in one week. Food was great and we sat on the balcony where we could see the ocean both times. I love supporting local small business! Highly recommended!
Great food! The view of the ocean is gorgeous. And attentive service.
Food was fantastic. Service was slow, I think they were understaffed, don’t blame the wait staff
Great low key bar and Hawaiian food experience ... their Cubano sandwich and Coconut shrimp meal were great. Went back for local dishes the next day
Great food, not to long a wait for the table
Making a reservation on open table did nothing. They showed open spots all night while the restaurant was packed.
The food was good, but we made a reservation for 7 @7:00. I even called them the day before to make sure, and while they couldn't find out reservation, they put us down for 7 the next night.
We got there a few minutes before our reservation, and were told that we would have to be put on the list to wait for a table. The main reason that we reserved a table was because of our number of guests, but they still seemed a bit surprised by our group.
Also, the menu on Open Table is not the same one that they have at the restuarant. We thought that perhaps it was due to the COVID restrictions, and the selections that they had were all tasty and generous portions, so we were all happy with our meals.
Overall, it was a fun evening during our vacation, but I wish that we had known that they didn't get our reservation so we would have arrived a lot earlier.
We had a reservation for 7 people. We showed up 20 minutes EARLY only to be told the kitchen had already closed for the night. I am not sure they actually use Open Table since they seem to be the only restaurant on the island who has available times constantly.
Out of stock on many drinks. Bad tasting water. Food was average.
The restaurant doesn’t care about Open Table reservations, so don’t bother. We went before our 6pm reservation time and were seated right away. I told the hostess that we had a reservation and she didn’t care.
Food is mediocre and overpriced.
View is good and drinks were decent. Our server was nice.
Food was good especially the Lilikoi cheese cake
Will not go back.
2nd time here this week. 1st time the food was amazing but the only time we saw our server was when she brought our check. Had to flag down someone to take order. However the food was delicious so thought we’d give it another go! This time the server was great but the kitchen lost our ticket. Took just under an hour and 45 min to get our food. Server gave us a free desert as compensation, and the food was delicious yet again, but disappointing service. Both times made reservations on Open Table and still had to wait when we arrived. If you don’t mind the delays the food really was great. Just don’t make plans for after dinner that are time constrained.
Great location. It was crowded on Father’s Day….but, the staff handled it well. Good to see lots of diners….and respectful of social distancing, etc…
The ice machine broke and couldn’t order cold drinks from the bar.
Excellent spot for Happy Hour - nice view, great food, good drinks and friendly, attentive staff
We did not get our drinks for an hour, our reservation on Friday June 18 th, currently it is Wednesday June 23rd and we are still waiting on my grandsons grilled cheese
Made reservations and had to wait. Very loud. Our server didn’t seem interested in working for the night. Took forever to get our food. Food was ok. Walked out of there with a $75 dollar bill for overcooked shrimp primavera and poke. Appetizers coconut shrimp. 1 cream puff and two cokes.
Awesome atmosphere to hangout after the beach.
It was very uncomfortable when the waiter and hostess kept trying to turn the table. We were there only 45 minutes. During the meal, the waiter was AWOL.
Everything was great. We realized toward the end of the meal that there hadn’t been any music on for the entire time, and it was a nice addition to the ambiance.
If you make a reservation, don’t count on it too much, as it didn’t seem to matter - we were in line with walk-ins.
