   I made a reservation at Lighthouse Cafe for my brother’s friends to celebrate a birthday, and the experience was completely unacceptable. From the start, the service was terrible — the server was unprofessional, disappeared for long periods, and the tables were dirty when the group arrived. I had informed the staff ahead of time that I would be covering the bill, but the server was nowhere to be found when it was time to pay, forcing the birthday guest to pay for his own meal, which was extremely embarrassing. The food was also a huge disappointment — the shrimp pasta was inedible, the beignets were cold, and they were served in the middle of the meal instead of at the end. What was supposed to be a special celebration ended up being stressful, disorganized, and embarrassing. For a restaurant that presents itself as a quality establishment, this was a completely unprofessional and frustrating experience. I would not recommend Lighthouse Cafe to anyone looking to host a special occasion.

   Food was okey. I ordered Avocado toast. I would assume the bread was toast but it doesn’t taste or feel like it was toasted. I’m glad my husbands food was good. Ambiance is always great there, romantic to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary.

   Every experience here has been amazing. The food is consistently delicious, the service is always warm and attentive, and the whole vibe is just effortlessly coastal and classy. It’s rare to find a place that gets it right every time, but Lighthouse Café really does. The views are stunning, the atmosphere feels relaxing yet elevated, and the fact that it’s dog-friendly with easy parking is a huge bonus. One of those spots you keep coming back to—and it never disappoints.

   It was a great date night visiting New Port. Wish we would have showed up early to walk the beach first and then had dinner. Make a reservation don’t try to walk in

   Dinner last night exceeded expectations. Not sure how I didn’t know about this place until now. Big parking lot available at the beach for a sunset dinner. Our server was awesome and each delicious. We had chips & guac, taquitos and ceviche appetizers. The clam chowder was the best I’ve tasted. I had scampi, husband had ahi nachos, friends had the burger and a lobster role. We all loved our meals and enjoyed brûlée cheesecake for dessert. Strawberry mojitos and hurricanes were tasty. We’ll be back for sure! Great little NB find!

   Our server Sophie was personable and very helpful. She made suggestions that accommodated my dietary restrictions. The food was very good and we had a delightful time. We will be back!!!

   Our server Mary was fantastic- very personable! We had reservation for large party 7) and had to be separated to 2 tables within 1 booth Overall fine, but challenging with senior adults who had hearing limitations with the noise volume Overall, good experience and Mary made sure to take care of the birthday girl

   Our waiter was nice but the kitchen was super behind on our orders and didn’t bring the right food out. Food was ok not bad but not good enough to go back or recommend. You basically are going for the ambience and drinks

    Responsive staff. Great view! Amazing coconut shrimp! A thoughtful anniversary desert that was the best beignets/sopapillas we’ve ever had. Our clam chowder still had some herbs in it that we chose to pick out. We were there in the evening and my seat faced the gorgeous boats and water, but I could see the reflections both TV’s in the glass.
