This unique Newport Bay waterfront dining establishment and craft bottle shop offers award-winning New American cuisine prepared by Chef Joel Gutierrez. Sophisticated, yet casual and approachable, LBW is
an unexpected surprise using local and sustainable ingredients that change with the seasons. Guests can experience a culinary adventure in every dish and enjoy a plethora of California craft beer, a curated wine list and signature cocktails. One hour free parking is available in the structure in the Lido Marina Village with validation. We are located in the black building "C" down the dock. Walk-ins are available and reservations are accepted during all business hours. Having both indoor and patio dining, we encourage guests to dress warm on cooler days, but also provide ample heat. Dogs are allowed on our outside tables. Take-out is also available.

The food was bland and unimaginative. We ordered the Gem salad - no flavor and greens were wilting. The pork chop was fried without any flavor. The burger was just OK. Croquettes were good, but everything else - with the exception of the champagne we ordered - was forgettable. They were out of the dessert we wanted. Disappointing since we expected more given reviews. Service was ok, but not great.

service was a little slow but everything else was terrific. I will go back. Hoping wait staff is a little faster tho!

Service this time was terrible compared to our previous experience here. Our specific assigned waitress was really bad. No one came to check in on us for 10-15 mins after the hostess settled us in with water. We had to ask and waive the next table’s waitress to help us. Then, even after, our waitress didn’t even apologize and def was not friendly. And, they mixed up our 2 burger orders, then took another almost 20 mins to make new ones as we waited and only brought them out immediately after I asked for an update. The only saving grace was that the manager took care of the burgers, and an appetizer, plus gave us 2 free desserts because we were celebrating my mom’s bday. Sadly, I don’t think we will be returning to this lovely spot again.

Fabulous food, drinks and ambiance. I’m always surprised this restaurant is not more full. Who doesn’t want great food right on the harbor?

We had a wonderful server who made our experience so enjoyable! Love being near the water… It’s a vibe! Food was great also and I’m happy they finally have their liquor license… Cocktails were delicious!

We had a wonderful brunch experience at LBW, during the Newport boat show so the center was bustling. The food was excellent, had multiple people in our crew state the bread pudding French toast with honey butter and blueberry compote was the best version of french toast they’ve had. Carnitas breakfast burrito and the croissant sandwich were also hits as were cocktails. Attentive and knowledgeable staff. All around hit!

We really enjoyed our lunch. The burger was fantastic. My husband had the chicken sandwich and I can’t stop thinking about the coconut lime aioli. So delicious. Great spot!
