Liberty Kitchen at The Treehouse located in Memorial City, joins the neighborhood as a local restaurant serving modern, American food. Diners can see our chefs as they work the open flames cooking steaks, chops, ribs and fish. The inclusion of the grill has greatly influenced the menu – dishes made in cast iron Dutch ovens and an international selection of craveable Southern Coastal cuisine. The food is bold in flavor and rich in textured layering with a twist on tradition, the flickering flames lend a pleasant invitation to settle in to the space, relax and quite simply, eat.

Some of the favorite Liberty Kitchen staples are on offer such as the Creole Whole Crab, Shrimp and Andouille Gumbo, R&D Test Kitchen: Infamous Burger Bowl, Deviled Eggs and Lance’s Loaded Hushpuppies (The Real Original) served Liberty Kitchen gorilla-style. Daily Chef Special’s are not to be missed.

From August 1st through September 1st, enjoy exclusive prix fixe lunch, brunch, and dinner menus at Liberty Kitchen while helping support the Houston Food Bank. This is your chance to indulge in your favorite Liberty Kitchen dishes — or try something new — all while making a difference. 2-course brunch menu priced at $25 | Sat-Sun 10am-3pm 2-course lunch menu priced at $25 | Mon-Fri 11am-3pm 3-course dinner menu priced at $55 | Sun-Sat 4pm-close Reservations are not required, but recommended. Walk-ins are welcome.

    My wife and I really like Liberty Kitchen, but not all Liberty Kitchen's are equal and the Memorial location is NOT anywhere near as good as the River Oaks location. The only thing the Memorial location offers that River Oaks doesn't, live music and it is very good. This was our 3rd try at Memorial, which is closer for us, but we'll drive a little further and go to the River Oaks location where we have never been disappointed. My wife's tuna entree was like someone without any thought just threw it together and it had no Plate or Eye appeal at all. I had the jumbo shrimp, and it was a little over fried and there was a small dish that was supposed to be some kind of slaw, and I really don't know what it was, and know I've had this dish several times at River Oaks and there was always of some very good slaw on the side. Third time is a charm and in this case means we won't be back at this location, even though we enjoy the music.

    This was my second time eating at this restaurant. I recommended it to a group of friends who hadn't eaten here before. I knew they would like the experience and I was right. They liked everything - food, service and ambiance. Josh was great! I will return.

    We came here for a Father’s Day lunch after being given a 2 hour wait at another restaurant and I’m so glad we did. Outstanding food, drinks, and service. We loved the seating and decor. Our server was excellent about communicating and checking on our food and drinks.

    We were seated promptly before our reservation time. Only drawback is that we were not offered a water refill at all during our meal time.

    The food was pretty average but the prices were like high end. Not worth the $188 for two people.

    A senior citizen cannot order a junior meal or they will add a $5 surcharge. That makes no sense

    We always have a great time at LBK. Great food and wonderful service. Oysters are always good and I like how varied the menu is-something for everyone!!
