At Liban Tapas Restaurant in South Woodford, we offer a simple, straightforward and healthy menu that is freshly prepared by our chefs each day of the week. Our menu is based around sharing plates and our tapas dishes have a Mediterranean base to them, being made with olive oil, local Lebanese ingredients and products with plenty of healthy salads and grilled meat dishes. We also serve mouth-watering Indian cuisine and Indian Tapas.

The enclosed and private Parisian Terrace is half covered and half open, offering the perfect place to enjoy some outdoor al fresco dining on those warmer days and evenings. Guests can also enjoy smoking Shisha on the Terrace.

We have given our menu a fresh new look, having introduced an exciting Indian Menu last Summer which runs alongside our existing Lebanese Menu and are proud to be working with some of the best Indian chefs in London to bring you a range of popular Indian dishes.

At Liban Tapas, we offer four magical dining areas - each dining area has its own unique character, all housed in our beautiful restaurant here in the heart of South Woodford. The word ‘Liban’ comes from the French word meaning Lebanese, and ‘Tapas’ refers to small dishes made for sharing. Combined, Liban Tapas offers two fantastic cuisines, perfect for sharing with friends. The kitchen sits in the heart of the restaurant, providing an aroma and warmth that fills the whole space; combined with the wonderfully colourful and vibrant atmosphere that allows you to be transported from dull, grey normality into a world of spices and abundant flavours.

It was closed - with a notice on the door stating it didn’t reopen until 15th September! Very poor service offered by Open Table - Think I’ll book directly in the future!? I’ll certainly be passing the fact that OT has allowed me to make a booking at a closed restaurant to all my friends and colleagues!

Awful food!! We used to be regulars of Liban. They have had a change in management and the food was simply awful. Greasy, small portions, different to what should have been served. Save your money and go somewhere else!

I felt there wasnt enough workers. Felt the managers jokes where not appropriate. He even wanted to know whats the reason for us not paying the service charge. Thats really unprofessional. He also charged our drink for the price of cocktail when we actually ordered mocktail. The milk was also off with our tea. The manager was sorry but thats it. Normally the manager will give something in the house to please the customer.

Extremely poor meals. Neither was the Lebanese stuff good nor indian. The chicken lollipop was the worst I’ve had in my life. Service was very slow, it took 30-40 min for our starters to arrive. Not worth my £70. Can have far more delicious meal in central London for that money.

Very slow service Some substandard food Couldn’t meet all our needs Half the dessert menu was not there. Waited 90 mins to get our drinks! Really poor!

Shocking of a restaurant. All I can say the food is overrated and its not worth the money. I went with my wife, after reading the reviews. I had the chicken shawarma and my wife had Shish taouk. First of all the shawarma did not test like a tradional Lebanese dish, it had a weird texture look to it and it was a weird looking dish. All though my wife enjoyed her Shish taouk, both mains were not worth the price. Each costing £16.95, with a half nan and abit of salad on the side. What a rip off, you get a small portion for that price They also charge 12.5% for service charge, which to be honest should be waived off as the restaurant is already expensive as it is. In all honesty we didn't get what we paid for. Been to so many restaurants and had better food and worth the price than this overrated restaurant. I hope they will change their price as well as their small and stingy portions They had a mix grill for £23, all you get is 2 wings, 2 Shish taouk and lamb chop, I was like what a rip off. To be honest the only thing I liked about this place is the deco and good customer service, other than that I will never come back here again.
