Enjoy a fusion of Asian and French cuisine at Li-Lis. Executive Chef Hok Chin has received numerous accolades and offers his culinary skills to present guests with fine creative dishes. Li-Lis features a contemporary setting with warm lighting and a semi-open kitchen. Maine lobster porcini risotto, yellowfin tuna tartare or bacon-wrapped duck roulade with a plum-tomato confit are palate pleasing appetizers. Guests can also try an entrée of roasted Chilean sea bass, garlic tiger prawns or filet mignon with rosemary fingerling potatoes. Li-Lis features a three- to six-course tasting menu and offers satisfying bites like Ahi tuna tartare tacos at its bar area. This restaurant also provides catering and carry-out services.

    The menu was very interesting and the food very good except it was a little salty. Our waiter was attentive and not overbearing, but not especially experienced. The chef was quite accommodating in adding and extra dumpling and rib to our appetizer orders so all six of us could have one. We had 4 different appetizers, 4 different entrees and 3 different desserts and EVERYTHING was good.

    Was in the neighborhood with a friend, we decided to check this place out. Soo glad we did!!!! The ambiance for a Saturday night in the les was amazing! It was cozy, and not noisy. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the scallops and escargot to start, and I felt tempted to order another one but didn't want to fill myself up before my main. I had the lamb and my friend had the chilean seabass. My friend wiped her plate clean. Overall very attentive service, compliments to the chef.

    This is really great little place to take a fancy-ish date. As we walked in, we were promptly greeted. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and french wine. The food itself was excellent. My lamb was soft and tender. the steamed bass has a nice taste to it that I enjoyed even though I normally dont eat fish. A manager person stopped by our table to chat with us for a little bit as we were nearing the end of the meal, and gave us some recommendation for dessert. The dessert was 100% on-point. We could not stop eating the creme brûlée. Overall, it was a fun French experience for this non-French person. Great food, great ambiance, great staff. they were incredibly friendly. Pretty good flavors all around. Would recommend for any occasion.

    Spectacular food. Spectacular wine. Intimate. Cozy. This place is crazy good. I was totally blown away by the quality of my dishes for dinner. And look, I'm no rookie. Three extended trips to Paris, a lifetime of eating fine food and trying to cook the same. So my question here is, "OK, what in the hell did you do to this beef to get it so perfectly moist, so tender, so succulent, so melt-in-the-mouth perfect?" I asked for a wine to pair with my entree. He suggested a Domaine des 2-Deux Anes Corbieres which was simply spectacular. I looked it up online and the description can't be written any better: "Blue-black in the glass with a deep purple rounding the rim. Scents of red and black fruit intermingle with Blueberry ink, a warm note of garrigue, pine and pounded limestone. The palate is a delectable expression of juicy plum, blackberry, black cherry and deft flavors of sweet herbs. A buoyant note of minerality emerges near the finish and that is given a nice boost by the wines silken acidity." Next time I'm in NYC I'm coming back and we're going to make an evening of it. There's genius going on here. Experience it before the crowds find out. Next time I'll start with the foie gras. Can't wait.

    A nice French evening. Food was Perfectly balanced and seasoned. Fabulous creme brulee. And the sweet, rustic room made me feel like I was far from NYC, in the French countryside. Lovely service, too. Just the perfect place if you're looking for a friendly, affordable traditional French bistro with wonderful food. Can't wait to return!

    When I arrived, I was the only person dining at 7:30. I got a little nervous, but the atmosphere was really nice and I could see the kitchen staff in the rear and they were busy prepping food. I stayed and am so glad I did. My dinner was outstanding. They started me off with two salmon tarts (compliments of the chef). I chose the tuna tartare appetizer. The presentation was beautiful and it was delicious. My dinner was rack of lamb. It was cooked perfectly and accompanied with what appeared to be a fried egg roll. It was stuffed with diced potatoes, onions and mushrooms. Another delicious treat. I finished with the best Creme Brûlée I've had in a very long time. Highly recommend.

    What an amazing dinner! Combining traditional French dishes like a filet mignon with Asians sauces like Sichuan pepper and adding shishito peppers to escargots and scallops made the food fresh and exciting. Add some bok choy with some ginger as a side and you got a winner. And let's not forget the desert! Fantastic and creamy hazelnut chocolate mousse with salted caramel ice cream to bring out the sweetness of the dish. Definitely heading back there soon.

    Every dish tasted incredible. I've followed Chef Hok Chin in every restaurant that he works and he has always surprise me with a new experience. The place is so confortable and friendly, I'm definitely coming back soon.

    It was quaint and it was super casual. I found the dishes to be fun, impeccably plated and put together flawlessly. We enjoyed the dishes here way more than any other local French restaurants. The favorite that worked for me was surprisingly the sea bass and my husband's favorite was the duck breast. Cooked t perfection. The evening finished with the most awesomely prepared creme brulee.
