   Beautiful space with attentive but non-intrusive staff. Exciting food and delicious wine. A must visit venue if you’re spending time in the Yarrra Valley

   We loved every moment of our lunch here. The little ones were entertained by the helicopters while the adults enjoyed one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. We’ll definitely be back!

   6/11/21 - Today's lunch was something I have been soooo looking forward to but alas it was a fizzer and a disappointment 😔. The service, the food and the lack of attention to details do not befit the prices charged and the reputation earned. Maybe they are still finding their stride after being closed for three months but it really is no excuse for a restaurant of this calibre. Teage Ezard's absence is definitely felt. Wish we had come when he was still there. The lamb was so dry that I had to send it back. The pork belly was the stand out dish with melt in the mouth meat and crackling rendered to perfection. Everything else looked much prettier than they actually taste. The young man who brought every dish out was very clearly uncomfortable around other humans and when asked if he has tasted the dishes, his answer was no. Once again, that took me by complete surprise because letting the staff taste every dish is usually compulsory for this calibre restaurants so they in turn can explain every detail of the dish when questioned by their customers. The FOH staff was a mixed bag. Started with a rather unfriendly and unhelpful waitress who pretty much threw the menus at us and mumbling out the dining format and walked off before we could ask any questions. We then had Emily, who was a lot more pleasant and really knew her stuff. However, the attention to detail just doesn't exist. A dollop of hommus that was dropped on the table from the very first dish was not wiped off throughout our entire meal even though dishes were cleared and served the whole time. Maybe I am nit-picking here but for close to $500, I expected much better.

   Stunning and beautifully designed venue. Staff were friendly on arrival however not super attentive afterwards. Despite having an allergy it took 3 mentions of what might be appropriate on the menu to be offered an allergy friendly menu. Despite the food being beautifully plated we were left disappointed with quite bland flavours specifically the chicken dish and some elements of the chefs selection. Also knowing that we had to choose a set menu (which we always do anyway) the chefs selection was a mystery which we were intrigued about. We were a touch disappointed that it was essentially bread and dips at the various price points offered. It would have also been nice to have the staff check in to see how the dining experience were going so we didn’t have to leave such a negative review. Also probably worthwhile noting that the outdoor seating is dog friendly. We would have loved to bring our pooch along! But also worth noting for patrons that don’t appreciate dog friendly venues there may be some furry friends. Overall a beautiful venue but left wanting more and dissatisfied with the value for money and quality. Hate leaving negative reviews. Especially after covid but there is some room for improvement. Sorry guys.

   An amazing experience for a special family birthday. We sat in one of the barrel booths which are very nice. And very quiet. Food was excellent. Wine also excellent but a little over priced. However the service was outstanding and the ambience and food - and the wine - was outstanding so for a special occasion we would return

   A lovely lazy Sunday lunch in a very pleasant surroundings. Staff were lovely, non invasive but incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and passionate!! We will be back.

    Very nice venue and staff are excellent. Food was good - starter snacks plate the highlight - but probably lacks the 'wow' factor at this price point.
